Yes they do. All good things must come to an end. All products will work their best within 2 years of purchase.

No. They prefer to not use bleach in their products but it is safe to use bleach in combination with their products.

No. They prefer to use safer plant-based ingredients in their products.

Does Boulder Laundry Detergent contain Dioxane?
The SLES product mentioned above does contain a minute level of 1,4 Dioxane. This is a by-product that occurs in the blending or development of SLES and is not an added ingredient. The raw material has a limit of 20 PPM (parts per million) (think of a shot glass in an Olympic size swimming pool). The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has set a limit for of 100 parts 1,4-dioxane per 1 million parts of air (100 ppm) in the workplace. One bottle of Boulder Laundry contains 1 PPM in the entire bottle and in dilution or wash is reduced to 4 PPBillion.
Are Boulder products safe to use around my pets and my children?
Yes! Their products use natural ingredients and are gentle on the environment and therefore will not harm your children or pets. Their products are much safer than many cleaning product companies that use harsh chemicals. That being said, they are not meant to be ingested or come into contact with eyes. If product is ingested drink water and contact a physician, if product comes into contact with eyes flush with water immediately.
Does Boulder Laundry Detergent work for both HE and front-loading machines?
Yes! You just need to follow the directions on the label for the amount of detergent to use for the machine you have but it most definitely will clean your clothes in either machine!
Is Boulder Laundry Detergent Safe for Septic Tanks?
Yes, a very firm and enthusiastic Yes! Based on all of the ingredient MSDS’s which state that the individual ingredients are biodegradable the claim is upheld. They are not aware of a specific laboratory test that does an actual septic test but a septic system functions by way of the materials in the system being able to be digested and broken down by bacteria. This is the same testing done to determine biodegradability.
Is Boulder Laundry Detergent safe for Grey Water Systems?
Yes. Boulder Laundry Detergent is fully biodegradable and has no effect on grey water or septic systems.

No. Their products are not a disinfectant but they are in the process of developing disinfectant products! Look forward to some disinfecting products in the future.
