Probable causes of urinary irritation
Urinary tract challenges usually begin when bacteria enters the urethra and multiply in the urinary tract. The urinary tract includes the tubes or ureters which carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder, the bladder itself, and the urethra which carries urine from the bladder to the urethral opening. Improper hygiene, irritation, exposure to foreign elements, or injury may increase the likelihood of infection.
A word about cranberry
Cranberry has an unusual impact on urinary tract infections. Cranberry keeps harmful bacteria from adhering to the wall of the bladder, kidney, or the ureters. When bacteria cannot cling to the organ walls, it sluffs off and is eliminated. This means the infection either won't occur or a healthy balance is created. Adding cranberry (as juice or capsules), drinking lots of purified water, and avoiding mineral water are other things to consider when treating the symptoms of urinary irritation.
Since urinary tract irritations may indicate symptoms of another health problem, consult your physician.
Painful and annoying
Urinary tract irritation can be painful and annoying. Women have the highest risk of developing these symptoms. At least one in five women will develop symptoms during their lifetimes and many will have multiple encounters with urinary tract symptoms. Pregnant and menopausal women are especially susceptible, and young girls and men are also at risk.
People with urinary tract challenges may experience a strong, persistent, sudden urge to urinate day or night; discomfort and a burning feeling in the area of the bladder or urethra when urinating; uncomfortable pressure above the pubic bone; for men, some experience a fullness in the rectum; and other symptoms.
U.T.I.-Care has been formulated with the highest quality homeopathic ingredients in strict compliance with the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States.
