How was the formula developed?
Kill Cliff started with an objective to create a drink that would speed recovery by reducing swelling and inflammation. As they began to develop the product, they compiled research on premium ingredients and their relationship to recovery, as well as studied research on endurance and recovery issues among athletes. Kill Cliff built lists of primary ingredients they wanted to include in the product as well as secondary ingredients that supported the main ingredients. Then, once they had clear direction as to where they wanted to take the product, they used a third-party team of scientists to combine the ingredients in an optimal formula. With all the potent nutrients they selected, it took about two years of trial and error to arrive at a product that was tasty, let alone palatable.
About Kill Cliff
Kill Cliff is a company that's looking to do something different - to create a new category of beverages that meets the endurance and recovery requirements of the fittest at a time when the market is oversaturated with empty energy drinks. These drinks may get you going but ultimately leave you high and dry without giving you the right nutrients to recover after a good workout.
Kill Cliff was created by a former US Navy SEAL seeking to create a tasty beverage he and his peers could consume on a daily basis, and one that would deliver a unique blend of premium ingredients to aid in recovering from strenuous exercise and physical exertion.
The basis for developing Kill Cliff was the theory that reducing inflammation is an integral part of recovering from strenuous exercise and physical exertion. Most sports performance products are only designed to do two things – artificially increase energy and replace depleted sugars and electrolytes. These products don't address inflammation – the real culprit for reduced performance and slowed recovery – and are often loaded with sugar and caffeine.
