The Arctic Ease Reusable Cold Wraps are not as cold as you would "expect" because it's not ice so you can actually wear it for much longer than you can ice without fear of tissue damage from cold exposure. If enhanced cooling is required the wrap can be stored in the refrigerator. DO NOT FREEZE.
I'm not near a sink where I can measure out 2 tablespoons of water; what can I do to recharge an Arctic Ease Cryotherapy wrap?
Place the rerolled wrap into a resealable bottle and drop 1 ice cube into the bottle and reseal the bottle. (An average ice cube contains 2 tablespoons of water). The wrap can be left in a cupboard, on the counter, etc. until it is needed again. It will take approximately 3 hours from the Arctic Ease Cryotherapy Wrap to recharge before it can be used again.
Is there a quick recharge method that I can use?
After wearing the Arctic Ease Cryotherapy Wrap for several hours, reroll the wrap from the outside in so that the far outside layer is now the most inside layer. Place the re-rolled Arctic Ease Cryotherapy Wrap under cold water. Remove from the stream of water and firmly squeeze out all of the excess water. Return the Arctic Ease Cryotherapy Wrap to the resealable bottle. (Be sure to remove all excess water; there should be no water dripping from the wrap prior to replacing it in the bottle, reapply the cap and seal).
I recharged the Arctic Ease Cryotherapy Wrap and now it won't stick to itself?
This is a result of adding too much water to the bottle when recharging; the wrap will need to be replaced.
