Using Quit Tea The Simple Quit Smoking Aid
The idea behind Quit Tea is simple, an herbal tea can help everyone stop smoking by reducing the side effects of withdrawal, while replacing an unhealthy habit with a healthy one.

Real smoking cessation comes from cutting of the consumption of nicotine. Studies have shown that it takes the body 3 weeks to get over a physical addiction to nicotine, and up to 3 months to break the psychological addiction to smoking. Quit Tea is meant to be used before quitting, to help you cut down, after quitting to help with the withdrawal side effects, and for at least 9 weeks to help break the psychological addiction and create a new, healthy habit of drinking herbal tea.

For most people the psychological addiction is more difficult to break than the physical addiction to nicotine, because smoking is a habit that involves a break from stressful daily activities. Quit Tea is meant to substitute that habit to help you stop smoking. Making a cup of Quit Tea takes time away from normal activities, boiling water, steeping the tea and sipping away provides that break. As you are waiting and sipping, take in deep slow breaths and relax.

This habit of drinking tea is life long healthy habit that should be continued after completely quitting smoking. Eventually you will not need Quit Tea (but you may want to keep drinking it!) but you should continue drinking some form of tea.

The Story Of Quit Tea Came To Be
Matt Bucklin had been a social smoker that slipped into smoking a little more regularly, and shortly after graduation he did a month long detox, with a few products from the health food store. Matt wanted to get healthy, so he gave up drinking, smoking, and he exercised regularly, and ate well.

It wasn’t until a couple months later that Matt realized he had quit smoking! Matt remembers trying his first cigarette again months later, and it tasted disgusting. He had one puff and threw it away.

It occurred to Matt that there might have been a connection between that detox and his new dislike for cigarettes, which promoted him to do some research and find out there might be something to it. Matt did a lot of mixing and testing, and after many many cups of tea, he found a formula that he believed would work.

Since Matt was no longer a smoker at this point, he found friends who smoked to test his tea blend. Matt found 3 smokers who were willing to give it a try. All used it for a few weeks and all came back with the same feedback, “when I drink this, I don’t want to smoke.” That was good enough for Matt!

In December 2009 Matt registered Quit Tea LLC in the State of Maine, and over the next few months he spent time trademarking, building a website, designing packaging, sourcing herbs, and putting a company together. Then in May 2009, Matt conducted a trial, received lots of positive feed back and finally put Quit Tea for sale online with the goal of helping smokers everywhere quit smoking naturally.

It goes without saying that it will take a lot more than just tea to quit smoking but having some sort of replacement is definitely key to cutting the habit. I quit smoking about 5 months ago and this tea really helped. The smokey and earthy taste makes it a suitable substitute for a cigarette. My only complaint is that it seems overpriced.

Not sure what to say - it's very tasty, and I enjoy sipping it, but as a quit smoking aid? Time will tell. At this point, I'll say it's a pleasant herb tea.

I began smoking when I was 14. I never was a “heavy” smoker but I was smoking about 10 cigarettes a day. I tried to quit a few times but always found myself buying a pack as soon as I was near a machine or store that sold them. A few months ago I saw an advertisement for quit tea. I drink a lot of tea and thought maybe I’d try it . i'm glad I did. It taste is good and I found I didn't want to spoke. Within a month I had stopped. That was in November. Thanks Quit Tea.
