Indulge yourself - turn hand washing into something special.
What is the difference between your new Hand Wash and your current Natural Hand Wash?
Both products are designed to offer a gentle, refreshing hand washing experience; however their new, premium Hand Wash contains additional skin-nourishing moisturizers and spa-inspired scents.
Are the Seventh Generation hand washes antibacterial?
No, Seventh Generation hand washes are not antimicrobial and will not kill germs. Studies have shown that, when compared to washing with antibacterial hand soap, proper hand washing with non-antibacterial hand soap (lathering wet hands with soap for a long enough period of time to sing "row, row, row your boat" once and rinsing with warm water) will remove the equivalent amount of germs from hands.
Do you offer refills for your Hand Washes?
Currently, Seventh Generation doesn't offer Hand Wash refills, although they are being considered for the future.
Why doesn't the Health & Beauty Care line offer a fragrance-free option?
While all Seventh Generation Health & Beauty Care products are formulated to be gentle, they formulated the lightly scented chamomile to be extra gentle and it will be labeled "Sensitive Care." As chamomile is known to have skin soothing properties and is gentle enough for sensitive skin, they chose essential chamomile and botanical extract of chamomile to provide a light fragrance without the risk of irritation.
Are the bottles & caps used in the Health & Beauty Care line recyclable?
The bottles for these products are all made from HDPE (#2) and contain recycled content. The caps for the Body Wash and the Body Lotion are virgin recyclable polypropylene (#4). The hand wash pump is virgin plastic and contains metal springs; as such, it is not recyclable.
Is your Health & Beauty Care line vegan?
Yes, these products do not contain ingredients that are derived from animals. Seventh Generation does not test on animals.
