Hay Max - Pollen Barrier Balm Aloe Vera - 0.17 oz.

Hay Max Pollen Barrier Balm provides Pollen, Dust and Dander Relief. Multi Award Winning HayMax
is a natural balm that is applied to the base of the nose to reduce pollen entering the body. Less pollen, less sneezing, less sore eyes.

About HayMax
How it works
It is very easy. HayMax acts as a barrier – or a blocker. HayMax applied around the base of the nose traps some of the pollen, dust or dander before it enters the body. Therefore there are less harmful particles in the body which means that there is less for the body to react against. Less pollen in the body results in less sneezing and for mild sufferers no sneezing at all.

HayMax works on the cause to try to reduce or, in some cases, even eliminate the effects of the pollen in the body. Often the simple solutions are the most effective ones.

If HayMax traps enough of the pollen, dust and dander to leave you with less pollen in your body than it takes for you to react, then you won't react. If it takes out enough pollen that you are just around the point where you react, then you may find that that although you don't stop sneezing, you sneeze a lot less than you would normally do. The good news here is that you can use HayMax in conjunction with anything else you find helpful. Other products you use may have less work to do, since there is less pollen in your system.

However, nothing is perfect and there are some people for whom HayMax doesn't work. We think it's worth a try though and we hope you'll think it's worth it too.

HayMax has been helping allergy sufferers for many years in the UK and Europe and we are delighted it is now available in the USA for the first time.

Suitable for Pregnant Women
"Antihistamine manufacturers advise against using Antihistamines while pregnant, not because there is evidence of harm, but because of insufficient evidence that they are safe."

At HayMax HQ, they work extremely hard to promote their 'drug free' message. All of the ingredients in their balms are specially selected to be suitable for pregnant and breast feeding women who are looking for some much needed relief during the high pollen season. They even go as far as making sure that the aloe vera leaf juice powder is only made from the juicy center of the leaf, so as to avoid the potentially irritant ingredients which are found in the tough outer skin. Lots of aloe vera products are made from mashing the whole leaf. Not HayMax.

Ella Martin, 25, pregnant, tells UK The Times how HayMax helped her during her pregnancy.

"The constant itchiness was infuriating and meant that I couldn't sleep; that's hard enough when you're up every two hours to go to the bathroom."

"It has changed my pregnancy…I'll definitely keep using it after the birth. Last week it was my birthday. I put on HayMax, and we went to a restaurant for dinner. I was able to sit outside in the evening sun. It was perfect and it would have been unthinkable if it wasn't for HayMax."

From Hayfever Sufferer To Success
HayMax was started by Max Wiseberg, who had suffered from hayfever all his life. He tried all available remedies for his hayfever with limited or no success, until coming across what later became HayMax. It was simple and it worked!

After a couple of years using it successfully, Max had the time to do some research. Very simply, he discovered that in hayfever sufferers pollen entering the body through the nose triggers a reaction. The body's reaction is to produce histamines.

Histamines are the things which, when you've got too much of them, cause the runny nose, the sneezing, the sore and itching eyes and ears and all the other things Hayfever sufferers know so well.

Max also found out that histamines are the things in our brains which help to keep us alert, attentive and awake. Suddenly it became clear why anti-histamines can make us drowsy, or affect our performance.

Each person has their own level of pollen they can cope with before they start to react. So Max, a hayfever sufferer, didn't need much pollen to make him sneeze. And someone who is not a hayfever sufferer could end up sneezing if you blew a large amount of pollen up their nose. So if Max could reduce the amount of pollen entering the nose, his hayfever might not trouble him so much. It all made sense! He consulted qualified aromatherapists to ensure the essential oils used would have the best chance of improving the product without presenting any possible harm. As a result of his research, his consultations and experimentation, he produced a completely natural balm which worked as an effective pollen barrier.

He conducted limited trials, and all respondents say HayMax works.

In 2006 HayMax became ORGANIC across the entire range, launched the new product – HayMax Pure, was approved by the Vegetarian Society, and HayMax picked up its first award. It was voted BEST PRODUCT ORGANIC by the Health Food Institute's panel of judges. (The Institute is a non-profit organisation devoted to providing high quality training for all health food retailers and their staff; thus raising standards of service to consumers and in turn raising awareness of the potent value of wholefoods. natural products, herbal remedies, and vitamin and mineral supplements). The health food industry welcomed HayMax products into it's shops so people could now buy HayMax on the high street.

HayMax does not claim to cure, relieve or help hay fever. It is not a hayfever medicine or drug. It is a preventative balm made from natural substances. It does not modify or correct physiological functions in human beings.

HayMax helps to reduce the incidence of allergens in the body which cause hayfever. Unlike pharmaceutical products, HayMax has no drowsy side effects and no prescription is required
