Marjoram is a bushy, perennial herb that grows up to 2 feet high. It has small, dark green, oval leaves and small greyish-white flowers that form clusters. The entire plant is highly aromatic. Marjoram was a very popular medicinal herb of the ancient Greeks and was given to newlyweds as a token of good fortune. Today, it is a popular culinary herb.
