Natural Factors Sleep Sense Fast Release Sublingual Tablets
SleepSense supports he body's normal sleep-wake cycle and reduces the time it take to fall asleep. SleepSense with Vitamin B12 has been shown to enhance the release of melatonin. Sleep Sense is safe and non-habit forming. Formulated by Lorna Vanderhaeghe, award-winning author and women's health expert. Melatonin is a hormone manufactured from serotonin ( our feel good hormone) and secreted by the pineal gland. the human body is governed by an internal clock that signals the release of many hormones that regulate various body functions. Melatonin is most well known for its ability to control our sleep/wake cycles where it is secreted in darkness and suppressed by the light.

Melatonin supplements are also used to treat jetlag as it can reset out internal clock when traveling across several time zones. Children have much higher melatonin levels than adults and as we age it is dramatically reduced. Low levels of melatonin are also found in those individuals with sleep and depressive disorders.

The Importance of Vitamin B12Suprisingly, new research shows adding 1000 mcg of sublingual B12 helps melatonin to work better. Those who can't get to sleep at night may need vitamin B12. Studies show that B12 causes an earlier release of melatonin at night which resets the sleep/wake cycle. B12 acts directly on the pineal gland to provoke a faster release of melatonin. Research has also shown that B12 helps you get to sleep easier and it sensitizes you to morning light, which helps you wake up feeling refreshed, especially in the elderly who often have sleep problems.

Contains no artificial preservatives, color or sweeteners; no soy, wheat or yeast.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if seal is broken. For freshness, store in a cool, dry place.
