Promera Health Stay ActiV Fast Acting Pain Relief

StayActiv is a specially-blended combination of three compounds. This patent-pending conjugation yields an all natural, non-toxic alternative to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) and COX-2 inhibitors that promotes relief for most types of acute and chronic pain.*

Delivered as a dietary supplement (capsule) or as a topical lotion (cream), StayActiv has been designed to relieve inflammation while actively promoting muscle, joint and tissue recovery. Unlike NSAIDS, COX-2 inhibitors and ibuprofen that simply mask the pain, StayActiv has been designed to promote healing where the inflammation begins. More importantly, StayActiv is an all natural alternative that eliminates the typical side-effects associated with over-the-counter remedies.

Origin of Pain
There are Two Main Sources of Pain

StayActiv is the only product on the market that targets inflammation and lactic acid – the two main sources of pain. StayActiv promotes relief from the release of prostaglandins and supports a reduction in the build up of lactic acid.

Routine pain from inflammation is caused by the body’s release of prostaglandins. This graph shows that StayActiv is just effective as ibuprofen in supporting relief and recovery from inflammation. As an all natural anti-inflammatory you get the performance of NSAIDS and COX-2 inhibitors without the negative side-effects.

This graph reflects the impact that StayActiv has on the build up of lactic acid over time. In doing so, StayActiv supports reduced muscle and tissue soreness. After 2-hours of strenuous exercise, lactic acid levels were reduced by more than 50% with StayActiv usage.

The Science Behind StayActiv

The following data was obtained from 5 years of studies and trials performed on StayActiv and have been validated as displaying the effectiveness of StayActiv along with a subjective measure of how it compares to other non-prescription musculoskeletal pain relievers.

It is well known that previous scientific literature has shown and documented the natural occurring compound from which StayActiv is derived has chemical attributes that render them as supporting natural anti-inflammatory activity.

To demonstrate this, when cultured cells are treated with bacterial toxins, they produce and release prostaglandins, similar to injured tissue or inflammatory responses. The data below shows that StayActiv effectively supports the reduced release of prostaglandins (PGE), a major cause of the routine pain response that occurs as a result of inflammation of over-worked muscles and joints. The data shows that this activity is dependent upon the dose of StayActiv with higher concentrations producing the greatest amount of support of prostaglandin release inhibition.

Several non-prescription drugs currently on the market are specifically designed as anti-inflammatory agents that inhibit the cyclooxygenase pathway (COX-2), which is the major cause for the production of prostaglandins following inflammation or tissue injury. Long-term inhibition of this pathway is also the major cause of the negative side effects of COX-2 Inhibitors like ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin, etc. It was shown that StayActiv does not inhibit the COX-2 enzyme, :" ":es prostaglandin synthesis and thus, less inflammation. This means that StayActiv does not have the negative side effects associated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) that are COX-2 inhibitors.

These side effects include contraindications with the stomach, kidneys, and liver. The healthy support of the body’s anti-inflammation by StayActiv is a very effective when compared to one of the top NSAIDs currently on the market, as shown below.

The data show that StayActiv was as equally effective as the leading NSAID, ibuprofen, in supporting the reduction or slowing of the production and release of prostaglandin from cells treated with the bacterial toxin LPS (lipopolysaccharide).

The effect of StayActiv on the intracellular lactic acid concentration in muscle cells during normal and hypoxic growth conditions is shown in figure 2. Also shown in figure 2 is the comparison of the effect of StayActiv to SAC (standard amino compounds) in supporting the reduction of lactic acid accumulation. The third chart examines the effects of StayActiv treatment on supporting a healthy reduction in lactic acid release from skeletal muscle cells during hypoxia (anaerobic activity resulting in insufficient oxygen supply).

The data show that the lactic acid concentrations in both normal and hypoxic cells is decreased following treatment with either SAC or StayActiv, however StayActiv consistently reduced the intracellular accumulation of lactate more than SAC.

Figure 3 represents the data generated from experiments that examine the effect of both StayActiv treatment and SAC on the release of lactic acid from cultured cells. Similar to the effect observed with the treatments on accumulation of lactate in the cellular compartments, both StayActiv and SAC decreased the release of lactic acid from cells during hypoxic conditions. StayActiv treatment showed a significant reduction in the release of lactic acid when compared to the control SAC. This significant reduction in lactic acid release was even more evident at four hours of hypoxic growth conditions.

In summary, the research from data compiled above clearly showed first that lactic acid is constantly being produced in the cell at some level and in much greater amounts during hypoxic conditions. The data also illustrates that StayActiv is significantly more effective than SAC in the reduction of lactic acid accumulation and release from cells.

Since less lactic acid is generated and released with StayActiv treatment, it is proposed that the pain and soreness associated with lactate accumulation in muscle and other tissues is greatly reduced. Again, no other product on the market targets this source of routine pain.

For relief of pain and inflammation. Use StayActiv before and after activity to minimize or prevent aches and pains.

  • For relief of general aches and pains, take 2 capsules daily.
  • For relief and recovery from acute or chronic pain, take 1-2 capsules, 2 or 3 times per day.
  • For strenuous exercise, take 2 capsules one hour before exercise to reduce lactic acid build-up; take 2 capsules after exercise to reduce inflammation.
