More Concentrated Than Most Soaps—Less Waste!

    Dilute, Dilute, Dilute!
Since Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Hemp Pure-Castile Liquid Soap Baby Unscented is concentrated, so you’ll want to dilute it! The following are recommendations to get you started, but you can always adjust according to your needs and your water hardness or softness. For instance, if you have hard water, you may end up using more Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap than someone with soft water.

Personal Care Uses for Dr. Bronner’s

Just takes 2-3 drops on wet hands. Apply to wet face.

One small squirt will do. Apply to wet washcloth then scrub.

½ Tbsp in your hand. Work into wet hair. Or dilute the same amount in ½ a cup of water first and work that into wet hair.

Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Castile won’t bubble but it certainly cleans. Depending on water amount and tub size, about 2 Tbsp should be enough. If not, add more.

Dr-Bronners-Liquid-Soap-Meme-Dog-Smiling-in-Field-with-Flowers-How-I-Feel-After-Cleaning-My-House-With-Dr-Bronners-Soap Use about 10 drops for face shaving, about 3 drops for underarms, and about ½ Tsp for legs.

Yes, it does taste like soap but you can wash your teeth with Dr. Bronners! Use about 1 drop on a toothbrush. perfect for camping or when you accidentally run out of toothpaste.

    Foot Bath
1 ½ Tsp in a small tub of water. Soak. Ahhh.

    Clearing Congestion
Put 1 Tbsp of Dr. Bronner’s in a bowl of steamy hot water. Drape a towel over your head, lean over the bowl, and breathe in the mist. Works best with Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint Pure Castile.

    Home Uses for Dr. Bronner’s

    Hand-Washing Dishes
Best when pre-diluted in a squeeze bottle. Then, just squirt on a scrub brush and get cleaning.

Add 1/3 to 1/2 Cup of Dr. Bronner’s liquid castile soap for a large load in a normal washer. If you have hard water, add ½ Cup vinegar to the rinse cycle. Use half of these amounts for HE.

Just mix ½ Cup of soap into 3 gallons of hot water. No rinsing necessary. Add some vinegar if you want to.

    All-Purpose Cleaning
¼ Cup Dr. Bronner’s soap in a quart of water. Put in a spray bottle if you prefer. For extra cleaning punch, add ¼Tsp of tea tree essential oil.

Scrub windows with 1 Tbsp of Dr. Bronner's Liquid Hemp Castile Soap in a quart of water. Rinse with club soda or a 50:50 vinegar/water mixture.

Pre-dilute 1 parts Dr. Bronner’s to 4 parts water. Add ¼ Tsp tea tree oil. Empty the toilet and squirt mixture into bowl thoroughly. Sprinkle some baking soda on the toilet brush and scrub bowl. Let mixture sit for 10 minutes then turn the water on and flush.

Other Uses for Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Soap

    Fruit & Veggie Rinse
Use about ¼ Tsp in a bowl of water. Swish the produce in the mixture then rinse with plain water.

    Dog Washing
The amount of Dr. Bronner’s to use for dog washing truly depends on the size of your pet and their hair length. Start with a few drops and add more if necessary.

    Plant Spray for Bugs
Add 1 Tbsp in a quart of water then place in a spray bottle. Optionally, add ½ Tsp of cayenne pepper or cinnamon for more repellant power.

    Ant Spray (Not on Plants)
To ward off ants, use ¼ Cup of Dr. Bronner’s Tea Tree Soap in a quart of water and spray. Or, add tea tree essential oil to any of the Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Castile Soaps. Warning, this concentration will harm plants.

    Eco Friendly
Dr. Bronner’s never contains any synthetic preservatives, detergents, or foaming agents. It’s made with pure and natural organic hemp oil, organic coconut oil, organic olive oil, and just a few other natural ingredients. Made in the USA. Even better yet, since Dr. Bronner’s Hemp Pure-Castile Liquid Soap is concentrated so it lasts. The 18-in-1 castile soaps are 2-3x more concentrated than most liquid soaps on the market today. That’s more soap per bottle and less waste. You won’t pour through this gallon jug too quickly. But, when you do finish using this pure castile liquid soap, the container is biodegradable! It was made from 100% post-consumer recycled material too.

    Fair Trade
And, from it’s simple and pure 8 ingredients (other than water), 3 of them are certified Fair Trade ingredients. That means that the good people Dr. Bronner’s gets ingredients from in places like Kenya, Samoa, Palestine, Israel, and Ecuador are treated fairly and make competitive wages. Dr. Bronner’s is proud to have created or partnered with fair trade and organic projects all over the world: in Sri Lanka for coconut oil, Ghana for palm oil, Palestine and Israel for olive oil, India for mint oil, Ecuador for sugar cane alcohol and palm kernel oil, and Kenya for avocado, tea tree, and coconut oils. An estimated 10,000 people around the world benefit directly from Dr. Bronner’s fair trade projects—and each time you purchase their products, you allow them to continue this work.

To simplify and enjoy life more, dilute 1/2 oz. or 2 squirts of this pure castile soap with 2 gallons or sinkful hot water, then towel massage, a facial pack, then wring towel out and fingertip massage your hair and scalp. Enjoy the creamy emollient lather on baby, bath, beach, body, dentures, deoderant, shaving, aftershave, silk, wool, pets, diapers, car, hand and foot soap.

Water, Organic Coconut Oil*, Potassium Hydroxide**, Organic Orange Oil, Organic Olive Oil*, Organic Hemp Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Lemon Oil, Organic Lime Oil, Citric Acid, Tocopherol * Certified Fair Trade Ingredients ** None remains after saponifying oils into soap and glycerin

Keep out of eyes. If cap clogs, Poke it. Clear only: do not squeeze bottle and shoot out soap. Soap can clog and spurt with pump dispensers. Flush eyes well with water for 15 minutes. Consult a physician if irritation persists.

I love Dr. Bronner's castile soap. I make my own shampoo by combining one part soap and two parts water. A teaspoon of any oil can be added for dry scalp. I also make my own foaming pump hand soap. I add 1/2" of soap to an empty pump soap bottle and then fill the bottle up with filtered water. Great ways to have healthy products and save money too!

This stuff is GREAT! I use it in the kitchen where I am constantly washing my hands and they stay soft because of this soap! It smells great, too!

Dr. Bronners soap is all I've used for the past couple of months now, and it really does work, no matter what you use it for. My favorites are definitely the Citrus and Peppermint soaps. I've used this as a substitute for shaving cream while shaving, used it to wash dishes, to shower, and used it for cleaning different things around the house. Good thing is that you don't have to use an insanely large amount of this to get it's desired effect. A 16 or 32oz bottle will definitely last you a good while, depending on how you use it. Despite the slightly steep price, it's worth every penny, really. I don't see any other product taking the place of this in my house. Thank you Lucky Vitamin for carrying the Dr. Bronner's products. Please keep them in stock. Thanks!
