Swisse - Ultiboost Hair Skin Nails+ - 150 Tablets

Healthy Hair, Skin, and Nails with Ultiboost Supplement
The hair, skin, and nails are part of the integumentary system. Because they are part of the integumentary system, they serve different functions such as protection of the internal organs, regulation of body temperature, and maintaining of homeostasis. Because they are constantly exposed to different environmental factors, the quality of the skin, hair, and nails easily degrade. Moreover, the quality of these body parts is also indicative of the health status of an individual. Thus, it is important to feed these body parts from within to ensure that they can perform their different functions. This is where Swisse’s Ultiboost supplement comes in.

  • Specially formulated to improve the skin, hair & nails
  • Contains biotin & silica for better hair, skin & nails
  • Contains other ingredients that can have systemic benefits to the body
  • Should be taken for at least 3 to 6 months for best results
  • Suitable for vegans & vegetarians

Specially Formulated For Better Skin, Hair, and Nails
This supplement is formulated to promote healthy skin, hair, and nails. It is made from ingredients that can help promote the healthy integumentary system. These include biotin (2600mcg) and Silica (40mg). Both of these ingredients can help improve the structural integrity of the hair, skin, and nails. Biotin, for instance, can help prevent thinning of the hair. Studies show that daily intake of 100mcg of biotin can help improve hair, skin, and nail quality. Silica, on the other hand, is used in maintaining the structural integrity of the skin thus promoting a youthful look.

Other Healthy Ingredients

Aside from biotin and silica, this supplement also contains other ingredients that can help improve overall health. It contains 5.1 milligrams of iron, 30 milligrams of zinc, and 14.29 milligrams of Milk Thistle. These ingredients do not benefit the hair, skin, and nails directly, but they promote overall well-being, and this is reflected on the quality of these three parts of the integumentary system. For instance, milk thistle can help with the liver function and improves its detoxification process. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that may also help promote the immune system.

Suitable For Vegans and Vegetarians
The Swisse Ultiboost supplement for hair, skin, and nails are made from plant-based materials. They do not contain any animal by-products thus they are good for vegans and vegetarians. However, it is important to take note that this supplement is also good for everyone. Anyone who wants to suppress the effects of aging on their skin, hair, and nails can benefit from this formulation. For best results, intake of 1 tablet per day is highly recommended.

Intake Precautions
This supplement should be always be taken with food. It is important to take note that one of its ingredients, zinc, may cause irritation as well as nausea when taken on an empty stomach. This is especially true for people who have a very sensitive stomach. While it can be taken by people from 18 years and above, careful precaution should be taken among pregnant and nursing women as studies on how this supplement may affect the developing baby is not yet fully understood. People who are also taking medications should consult their physicians first prior to taking this medication for safety reasons.

How Long Should It Be Taken?
It is important to take note that this supplement does not provide an overnight miracle. This means that one has to take it regularly for a certain period of time in order to see results. Studies show that this supplement should be taken for three to six months at a time to see results. Taking it with other supplements can cause contradictions thus it is important to consult with a physician for any regimen changes in the supplement. This is also important for one’s safety.

About Swisse
"At Swisse we are passionate about three things: health, happiness and wellbeing. We believe that the way you live has a direct impact on the enjoyment you get out of life."

Swisse is an Australian success story. It all began with founder Kevin Ring in a humble Melbourne warehouse in 1969. From the outset, their mission was embedded in the Swisse DNA – a dream to make people all over the world healthier and happier.

That vision is well on the way to becoming a reality. For over 40 years, Swisse has been investing in products formulated with premium quality ingredients based on traditional evidence and scientific research.

Today, the Swisse product range stretches from top selling men’s and women’s multivitamins and dietary supplements, to sports nutrition, skincare and functional foods. Swisse products are currently available in Australia, New Zealand, China, Singapore, the UK, Italy and the Netherlands, with plans to launch in up to 30 countries in the next five years.
Swisse believes that health is the most important thing in all of their lives. It underpins everything else that matters, like friends, family, career and all of their dreams. Around the Swisse office, the concept of “health and happiness” is discussed so often that it has been shortened to ‘H&H’. At Swisse, everything has to pass the ‘H&H test’.

The Four P's

Their people are not one of the reasons Swisse succeeds. They are the reason Swisse succeeds. That’s why their people are their first priority. Swisse's team has access to free personal training in their office gym, meditation and yoga classes. Team members also enjoy an extra ‘Health and Happiness’ day of leave each quarter to spend time with their families and friends.

They include their customers and their partners when they talk about their people. Making sure they build long-standing relationships is an important goal at Swisse.

Swisse's principals are all based around what will make the world and the workplace healthier and happier. They have had this attitude since they started out and they think their business growth, culture and public recognition reinforce this foundation for success.

Their passion is what powers their ongoing growth and innovation. They want their people to love their work because they believe there is no engine to drive a business like a group of passionate people pointed in the same direction.

Their profits would not be achievable without focus on the three other Ps. They're proud of what all they have achieved so far, but they have only just begun. At the core of their philosophy is a belief that the conventional approach to health can be improved. They believe that people should focus on maintaining and sustaining their wellness, rather than only seeking help when their health is suffering. Swisse also believes that wellness is linked to how we spend our time, what we put into our bodies and how we approach life.

Positive thinking, great relationships, nutrition and exercise are all part of living a healthy, happy life.

After a trip to Switzerland in the 1960s to learn about the latest developments in natural medicine, Australian businessman and entrepreneur Kevin Ring was inspired to develop his own range of herbal and vitamin supplements back in Australia.

Kevin opened an organic bakery in Melbourne where he specialized in whole foods and fresh bread. It was here that he introduced the first product in the Swisse range – pollen tablets – and Swisse was born!

1991 marked a big milestone for Swisse when they launched their flagship product, Swisse Women’s Ultivite. Formulated specifically for women and made with premium quality ingredients, it was hailed as the ‘Rolls Royce’ of women’s multivitamins. Four years later, the release of Swisse Men’s Ultivite cemented the company’s place as a market leader in multivitamins.

The early 1990s also saw the unique Swisse company culture gain definition with the introduction of the 4Ps and H&H charter developed by the inspirational Michael Saba. Michael served as Swisse Managing Director from 2000-2007.

Swisse soon expanded its presence in the vitamin and supplement industry, developing, rigorously testing and then releasing 200+ products to eager customers.

In 2008, Radek Sali, the son of integrative medicine pioneer Professor Avni Sali, joined Swisse and brought with him a progressive approach to company culture and his extraordinary business acumen, which has seen him become one of the most celebrated CEO’s in Australia.

Under Radek’s leadership, Swisse became an Australian success story – a truly global brand, inspiring millions around the world to live healthier and happier. He has led Swisse into the number 1 position in the Australian market, and guided his team to deliver a product that is now number 1 in China’s online market.

At the end of 2016, Radek made the decision to depart Swisse and hand the reins over to new Managing Director, Oliver Horn. Oliver is passionate about living and promoting a healthy company culture and is committed to the ongoing cultivation of the famous Swisse values. He is best placed to lead Swisse on the path of its global journey and to continue Radek’s vision to become the world’s leading proven, premium and aspirational wellness brand.

It is an exciting prospect that their once small wellness company, founded in the humble origins in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, is well on the way to one day being represented in every pharmacy and health store globally.
