    Vitamin C  (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate)
One of the most vital ingredients in any effective skin care regimen, Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles & discoloration.

    Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate
A more stable form of Vitamin C than the commonly used L-Ascorbic Acid found in most skin care products, provides the same benefits, without the risk of oxidation and irritation that is often associated with L-Ascorbic Acid.

    Vitamin E
Protective antioxidant that has been shown to reduce the appearance of wrinkles & discoloration.

    Ferulic Acid
A natural antioxidant found in the cell walls of plants.  When combined with vitamins C & E, Ferulic Acid has been shown in studies to have a compounding antioxidant effect.

    Hyaluronic Acid
A naturally occurring substance in the body, hyaluronic acid begins to deplete as we age.  Applied topically it can help increase the plumped up look of the skin.

    Konjac Root
Exotic flower from Asia, helps to soften & smooth the skin while forming a thin protective barrier.  Rich in nutrients such as copper, zinc, phosphorus, fatty acids, protein, carbohydrates, lipids, potassium, magnesium, iron, niacin, folic acid & vitamins A, E, C, D & B!

    Chamomile Extract
Provides a thin protective shield, while naturally soothing and calming the skin.

    Clary Sage
Helps eliminate overly-dry or overly-oily skin.  Acts as natural toner & astringent.

    Acne Prone Skin
All Mad Hippie products work well for acne prone skin as they use a lot of skin balancing ingredients that are great for all skin types. The serums are a must, particularly the vitamin C serum, which can be used morning and night if not using any other serum (they recommend one serum at a time, rather than layering them).
The vitamin A serum or exfoliating serum can be added at night, starting these serums every other night until skin adjusts. The vitamin A serum, in particular, can have a brief adjustment period.

Mad Hippie are hippies on a mission. Sure they make skin care, but that's just the beginning. Their underlying commitment is to increasing beauty around the world. And, they don't mean beauty simply from the esthetic standpoint. They mean real beauty. The beauty of love. The beauty of health. The beauty of self confidence. The beauty of optimism. The beauty of community. The beauty of taking care of one another regardless of gender, race, orientation, age, location, or even species.  From helping inspire people to make healthier choices, to raising awareness and support for social causes & the environment, Mad Hippie is committed to the belief in a brighter, better tomorrow. But they can't do it without you. So they invite you to join the hippie movement. Stronger together, and united, there's nothing that can't be accomplished!

With a "buck the cosmetic establishment" manifesto, the belief that we are stewards of this planet and must treat our home and fellow beings with love and respect, and an unwavering belief in a brighter, better tomorrow, Mad Hippie was born. Are they the rebels of skin care, or simply some hippies with a far out notion?  Whatever it might be, the revolution is underway and they invite you to join them!

For those of you who've tried every C around and are still looking -- that was me until I found this serum. All the benefits of the high-cost serums (C, E and Ferulic) without the smell and irritation- and none of those no-no ingredients. This is my desert island product.

Very happy with this. Smells light and clean. Love the ingredients. My aestetician recommended a serum with c and ferulic, but the horrendously expensive one from skinceuticals contained unacceptable ingredients for this nature chick, is unclear on if they test on animals, and insanely priced. I searched for a natural alternative that I could feel comfortable with, and found this. To my delight, Lucky carries it! Definitely one of my fave new products!

I really love this product! I've used several different Vitamin C serums. This is the only one that has a nice smell. The rest are disgusting. I don't think the packaging is optimal to keep the product stable (as Vitamin C isn't stable) and even though they claim their vitamin C serum is made with a type of Vitamin C that is more stable than ascorbic acid, I do notice a difference in the way my skin feels and looks from the beginning of the bottle to the end. I think they could package it with a sealed pump for much better results.

This is superior to other Vitamin C serums on the market. This product also has the Ferulic & Hyaluronic Acid. Price point it is the best!!!

This product smells good and feels good, but doesn't actually seem to do anything for my skin. I used it twice a day until I ran out, but didn't really notice a huge difference, just that my skin washing and moisturizing routine had another step in it. Also I hate the eye-dropper bottle. It stopped closing completely after a week of use (I would try to close it, but it would twist off on its own [no ghosts, just air pressure and flawed product]), and the last few milliliterswere not reachable.I would not order this again.
