    • Helps for pets with gas and regularity issues
    • Seal of approval from the National Animal Supplement Counsel (NASC)

The Honest Kitchen has a brilliant team of about 37 employees, along with fourteen dogs who join them in the office most days – you can often find them lounging on sofas around their lovely brick loft, sprawled on squishy dog beds, having a game of tug-of-war with one of their many battered toys – or pounding the streets outside during a lunch time stroll or having a walking meeting with the team.

The Honest Kitchen has been voted among Outside Magazine’s Best Places to Work for the past five years running. They go on field trips together for all sorts of things, whether it’s to see the Dalai Lama or David Sedaris, or learning about agricultural farming practices at a local organic farm.

Speaking of things organic, The Honest Kitchen uses as much organic produce as they can, and they never use GMO produce. Their dehydrated pet foods are made from the most pristine, whole food ingredients available. They know that choosing a new pet food can be very overwhelming; there are so many opinions (not to mention quite a bit of misinformation) and so many different choices available.

What sets The Honest Kitchen apart is the fact that they put their hearts and souls into making The Honest Kitchen’s products with the finest quality ingredients, uncompromising standards, and a really common-sense approach to food – just like they would if feeding human children!

Everything they make is human grade, which they see as a real line in the sand regarding the quality, safety and integrity of their products – and peace of mind when it comes to what they're sending to other people’s Kitchens. They have the perfect balance of safety, convenience, quality and tastiness – and ultimately, a finished product that actually speaks for itself…. It’s no wonder their tribe of passionate fans continue to tell their friends and help spread the word when they see the effects in their own beloved dogs!

Commitment to You & Your Pets
The Honest Kitchen is a labor of love, based on the foundations of honesty and transparency and The Honest Kitchen so excited to share it with you. Let them know what they can do to help!

    The Honest Kitchen

Lucy was making her dog Mosi’s food with pureed fresh ingredients. The results were great, but the mess in her kitchen was not. After a lot of cleanups and even more experimenting, Lucy determined dehydrating whole foods was the way to go. Raw ingredients suppliers began shipping samples to Lucy's little kitchen in Pacific Beach, California, where a prototype recipe for Verve was born. Soon after that, Lucy found human food manufacturers that wanted to get into her crazy gourmet pet food business. The first batch of Verve was 2,000 lbs. And it sold like human-grade hot cakes. When the website was set up and the first test order was placed, Lucy discovered somebody had actually beaten her to the shopping cart. Thanks Linda from Virginia! We’re grateful for your order—even though we lost money on shipping.
