    NOW Foods

    Mission
Since 1968 NOW has been a leader in the natural products industry. Even when healthy foods and natural supplements weren’t mainstream, we’ve never wavered from our mission – to provide value in products and services that empower people to lead healthier lives.

    Facilities
As one of the natural products industry’s premier manufacturers, NOW owns and operates several manufacturing and distribution facilities in the United States and Canada. NOW is headquartered in Bloomingdale, Illinois, where our corporate offices and primary manufacturing facility are located. NOW also operates a cutting-edge distribution facility in the neighboring town of Roselle. To better service our west coast customers NOW also operates a manufacturing and distribution facility in Sparks, Nevada. Both the Bloomingdale and Sparks facilities also house state-of-the-art testing laboratories, where NOW’s quality technicians use the latest analytical instrumentation to perform approximately 16,000 tests on ingredients and finished products each month.

    Environment
As a natural products manufacturer, NOW is keenly aware of our potential impact on the environment, and we’re committed to responsible stewardship of our planet through the reduction of our carbon footprint and other sustainability initiatives. At NOW we work with various organizations to assess our impact on the environment, and each year we receive a report estimating how much we’ve reduced our carbon footprint through the use of recycled cardboard.

    Charity
NOW is proud to host and participate in environmental initiatives throughout our local community. When disaster strikes close to home NOW stands ready to help our friends and neighbors with charitable contributions and employee involvement. An example of our charitable outreach is the assistance NOW employees provided to several communities devastated by powerful tornadoes in 2013, including the town of Washington, Illinois. NOW employees donated food, clothing, and their time assisting with relief efforts.
As a successful business member of our local community we firmly believe it’s our responsibility to help those in need whenever we can, but especially when the need is greatest.

These are good sunflower seeds -- I've ordered this brand from Lucky Vitamin several times. I use them to cook with, or to blend with cashews and water and some other ingredients to make fake "cheese" to use in vegan recipes. They work great in anything I've used them for.My family has a lot of allergies. I've checked with the manufacturer, and NOW foods says that they have stringent controls in place to make sure that undeclared allergens are not in the foods they produce. I really like that, and go out of my way to find this brand because of that.(Disclaimer: I do not work for Lucky Vitamin nor for NOW foods. I just really like these sunflower seeds.)
