Yogi believes the purpose of business is to serve. They were founded on this belief and still use the idea of business serving as its guiding principle: "Feel Good, Be Good, Do Good." With every ingredient sourced, and every cup of tea made, Yogi strives to support quality, sustainability and social responsibility on a local, national and global level.
From site-visits to the source, to packaging and quality testing, Yogi strives to deliver unsurpassed quality in every cup of tea and to reduce its impact on the planet through ecologically responsible choices in sourcing, production and packaging.
Founder of the Kumari Project and daughter of a former Yogi employee, Arun Storrs, is pictured here with some of the children her charitable organization supports. The Kumari Project works to build safe and joyful childhoods for orphans in Nepal. Yogi's support helps fund its efforts to pioneer a safe, long term home and education for female Nepalese orphans.
Building Roads to the Future
With over a million servings of tea donated to local food banks every year, helping the developmentally disabled develop skills that can be applied to finding gainful employment in the community, and international partnerships that support education, housing and medical care for those in need around the world, Yogi is truly dedicated to spreading wellness.
Yogi is also proud to be a Certified B Corporation, using the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. Unlike traditional corporations, B Corps are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their employees, suppliers, community, consumers, and environment, thus meeting higher standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
