A Louisville-Local Company Born of an Accident
The idea for vegan jerky came to Stanley Chase III after he burnt a batch of soy patties at his vegan food truck. Already a pioneer in vegan food in the city of Louisville, Stan couldn’t let the lingering taste of the burnt soy patties that so reminded him of jerky just go. He decided to experiment and create vegan jerky, and he did just that. Since that fateful day, the company has grown by leaps and bounds as vegans and non-vegans alike have come to adore the combinations of flavors and textures that Stan has been able to make with his revolutionary non-jerky.
Simple, Cruelty-Free, Vegan Ingredients. Non-Jerky.
As a vegan jerky company, you already know that the ingredients used are cruelty-free but the Louisville Vegan Jerky Co makes flavors unlike any other. So far they’ve launched Bourbon Smoked Black Pepper, Sesame Teriyaki, Maple Bacon and Sriracha Maple and they regularly encourage their employees to bring any ideas they might have for flavors to the table. The company strives to use all local ingredients and they use real ingredients in all of their products that are gluten-free and low in cholesterol.
Fostering Community and Giving Back are Top Priorities
The founder of Louisville Vegan Jerky Co has always said the community is more important than profit. The company gives their employees bonuses, monthly massages and tries to foster an inclusive environment where everyone can feel comfortable working. To top that, the company sponsors the oldest animal at the local shelter every month and gives back whenever they can to their local community.
