Wee Bee Brings the Gifts of the Hive to Their Customers
Honey is truly one of Mother Nature’s most wonderful gifts. But finding pure, delicious, raw honey can sometimes be difficult. Wee Bee apiary is one of the few producers of raw honey in America. All their hives are maintained organically to assure that only the best raw honey is provided to the tables of their customers. Estate Grown Naturally Raw Honey by Wee Bee may not look like the honey on the grocery store shelf, but this is honey as it comes out of the hive. Wee Bee honey is unfiltered and contains propolis, pollen, and a bit of honeycomb, which just make it more flavorful.
What Is So Special about Honey?
Homey has long been valued not only for its delicious taste, but also for its health benefits. There are Ancient Egyptian tomb paintings that show people tending bee hives, so it’s obvious that honey has been used by mankind for thousands of years. In addition to tasting good, honey is also packed with antioxidants that fight free radicals. Raw honey, such as that offered by Wee Bee may have higher levels of antioxidants and micronutrients precisely because it hasn’t been exposed to heat. Honey is also thought to be good for the heart by lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol and may actually help to assure a good night’s sleep.
Wee Bee Is a Family Owned Business
Noah DeMuth was bitten by the ‘bee bug’ way back in 1892 when he bought his first bee hives. This condition is readily passed on through the generations and so it has been with Wee Bee. Over the years when Noah’s love for bees saw the establishment of his first little apiary, this love has been passed down generation after generation. It has even ‘hit’ the other side of the family and now Wee Bee has organic operations in both New York and Florida. These apiaries have 2,000 hives and are cared for completely naturally – no pesticides are used in or near the hives to assure that Wee Bee honey is pure and organic. Today, the firm’s youngest beekeeper, Andreas, is following in the Wee Bee tradition with his love of bees and honey.
