Portable, Healthy Cheese Snacks for Everything from the Gym to Camping
When it comes to cheese, Sonoma Creamery knows their stuff, with just a few years short of a century’s worth of experience in cheesemaking. They still make their traditional wedge cheeses, including jack varieties and a line of Sonoma Organics. However, they’ve also branched out into a delicious range of healthy cheese snacks, too, many of which are shelf-stable. Since no refrigeration’s needed for these cheese bars, cheese chips, and other cheesy delights, it’s easy to bring them to the gym, while running or hiking, and more.
Sonoma focuses on Pure Deliciousness & Natural Protein without Chemicals
While making their cheese snacks portable for delicious on-the-go energy is important to Sonoma Creamery, so is making them healthy. These savory snacks are created from a list of simple, wholesome ingredients, and all include real cheese, no “cheese food” or flavoring. Many of their snacks are high-protein, offering 7 or 8 grams of protein per serving, and low-carb, with 4 to 7 grams. They’re also made gluten-free and preservative-free, plus 100% free of rBST hormones.
From the Start, Sonoma Creamery’s Been About Clean, Healthy Cheeses
The history of Sonoma Creamery stretches all the way back to 1931, when the company got off to a successful start despite the Great Depression. From the start, their process of making artisanal cheese was simple and straightforward – get the highest quality milk available and make delicious cheese from it. Even so long ago, the company avoided using additives and hormones, relying on the tastiness of the natural cheese for success. Their first product was Sonoma Jack, a hugely popular, creamy-tasting Monterey jack cheese they still sell today.
