    Burt's Bees - Beeswax Moisturizing Day Creme - 2 oz. (57 g)

Burt's Bees Beeswax Moisturizing Day Cream is a natural for the face, neck and throat area. Generously enriched with vitamins and botanical oils, the soothing and emollient quality of Burt's Bees' lightweight formula is suitable for all skin types.

    How Beeswax Day Creme Works
This lightweight version of our Beeswax Moisturizing Night Creme is a natural moisturizer that combines beeswax with vitamins and botanical oils. The soothing formula is suitable for all skin types.

    Featured Ingredient
Beeswax: A natural wax made by bees in the cell walls of honeycombs, this substance is a natural emulsifier used in cosmetics. It adds a wonderful natural smell and color to products and helps to seal and protect the skin when used in moisturizing formulas.

    Collecting Beeswax On Nature's Schedule
Bees know how to do their job, so Burt's Bees' leaves them alone and mind their own beeswax until the time is right. That's how they ensure their beeswax cultivating process protects their normal production cycle. Bees produce a wax honeycomb where they raise their young and store honey and pollen. When it's full, they cap off the honeycomb and move on to build another hive. Then, and not before, is when Burt's cultivate the beeswax, ensuring the normal cycle of nature.

    Burt's Bees Frequently Asked Questions
    Are your products hypoallergenic?
There is no defined methodology to test for allergic reactions in beauty or personal care products, nor does the FDA regulate use of the term "hypoallergenic." Consequently, Burt's Bees does not position their products as hypoallergenic. A list of ingredients for each product is available on individual product information pages on this site.

Are your products safe for pregnant women to use?
Burt's Bees recommends that any expectant mother check with her physician before changing her skin care routine with their products, or any other line of products.

How long will my Burt's Bees products stay fresh and what is the best way to store them?
Burt's Bees products are made with natural ingredients. They purposely present our products in smaller portions so you finish them while their ingredients are still fresh and providing their maximum effectiveness. As such, we recommend you store creams and oils in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat. Creams may be stored in their cartons for extra protection.

Where are Burt's Bees products made?
Over 95% of Burt's Bees products are made right in their own manufacturing plant in Durham, NC. The rest are made by other respectable American manufacturers.

Do you test on animals and do your products contain animal-derived ingredients?
Burt's Bees does NOT conduct product or ingredient tests of any kind on animals. A few of their products contain ingredients derived from animals such as beeswax, royal jelly, milk and carmine.

I am allergic to bees. Can I still use your products?
Burt's Bees does not use actual bee venom in their products – only bee by products such as honey, beeswax, royal jelly and honey powder. However, if you are allergic to bee by-products, then Burt's Bees does not suggest using their products. They recommend that you contact your health care provider when changing your skin care regimen to find out which products are best for you.

What Burt's Bees is All About

I have combination skin, and although this helped out in dry patches, it also made me break out on my chin and forehead (where my skin is more oily). I'd recommend it for someone with dry skin though, or if you have combination skin, adjust like I do and use only a tiny amount on the more oily parts of your face. I also use it for my hands, it makes them feel extremely soft! One thing I don't like though, is the smell. It's a very strong, overpowering floral smell. Next time, I think, I'll buy a different moisturizing creme from Burt's Bees.

Another product I cannot live without. I use this as an overnight cream and its outstanding, I swear it reduces the fine wrinkles around my eyes. It seems heavy, but sinks in nicely after a few minutes. I also use it in the morning on my problem areas (some eczema) over my lighter cream and under my makeup. It has never made me break out and keeps the fine flakeys from my eczema under control. LOVE this. Strong honey scent, not unpleasant, and dissipates once on.

    I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

    About Burt's Bees

At Burt’s Bees, they scour the good earth to find the most natural, effective ingredients to put in our products. To Burt’s Bees, the word “natural” means only one thing. It means, “harvested from nature.” And they adhere to that definition like the strictest of school teachers. There are ingredients that you will never find in any Burt’s Bees product. Things like petroleum which can be toxic. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which is a harsh, aggressive ingredient used in certain beauty products. And when was the last time you saw a farmer growing Propylene Glycol? Rather than loading their products up with harsh chemicals or unnecessary fillers, they offer you only the good stuff.
