Country Life Buffered Vitamin C 1000 mg Plus 150 mg of Bioflavonoids has been prepared with natural alkaline Calcium Carbonate and Magnesium Oxide which buffer and neutralize the excess acidity of Vitamin C. Buffered Vitamin C has been formulated in a special base to release its nutrients over a prolonged period of time. Buffered Vitamin C is prepared without any animal products, so it is vegetarian, as well as kosher.
Country Life Buffered Vitamin C contains no yeast, wheat, soy, gluten, milk, salt, sugar, preservatives or artificial colors.
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that has a number of biological functions. Country life offers a good product line. The price of the buffered c is the lowest I've found-excellent value.

The only time I caught a cold in the past couple of years is when I ran out of these. The buffered C is easy on my stomach and urinary tract, so I can take as much as I think I need.
