Suggested Use
Recommended for: Safe and effective for dogs and cats 12 weeks of age and older.
Initial Use: Wet coat and apply a generous amount of Neem "Protect" Shampoo. Work into a good lather from head to tail. Leave on animal for five minutes and rinse well with fresh water. Brush animal's coat when dry to remove any debris that may not have washed out. After coat has dried completely, spray generously from head to tail with Neem "Protect" Spray.
Follow-Up: Use Neem "Protect" Shampoo and Neem "Protect" Spray on a regular basis, especially during warmer months. Use regularly for animals that live in warm climates and/or spend time in tall grass or wooded environments. Neem "Protect" Shampoo is non-toxic, environmentally sensitive and can be safely use on an on-going basis.

When we first got our cocker spaniel, he would go into itching fits. He also had very dry skin. We bought several oatmeal-based pet shampoos, many of them quite expensive. Some would work for a few days before our dog would start scratching again--or would not work at all. I came across Ark Naturals while on another site, and bought my first bottle from there. Unlike other dog shampoos that seemed formulated for monthly use, this brand was gentle enough to use once a week, so our dog has completely stopped scratching, has wonderfully healthy skin and fur--and smells wonderful. Our dog was itching a lot. Vet suspected pollen allergies but wasn't sure. We tried adding fish oil capsules to her food, as well as bathing her with a natural baby shampoo doctored with essential oils for the skin, but neither seemed to help. We stopped the fish oil and switchd to Ark Naturals - Neem Protect shampoo. After a while we noticed she only itched the ocassional doggie itch. Our dog is doing MUCH better and I think it must be the shampoo, as nothing else was changed.

I Love this product! It has helped my dogs itchy skin, its helped his coat/skin from getting dry and flakey and makes it shiney. It has a pleasant smell, it even helped a rashy spot on his tail to heal up. Its all natural and I love the neem spray too which I use after shampooing him. My dog loves being bathed in it too. I have been using it for 1 year now, on my big short haired dog.
