Vitamin E is not just alpha-tocopherol, and not just mixed tocopherols either. The E complex includes eight distinct E molecules (or vitamers): four tocopherols and four tocotrienols. Unbalanced alpha-tocopherol supplements have been shown to deplete the body of these other E-complex members. Research shows that the different members of the vitamin E family have unique functions not shared by other E vitamers, and that E-complex members also act synergistically together. Co-enzyme Q10 is included as a lipid-phase antioxidant recycling couple to the E complex.
Suggested Use
Take one softgel daily with a fat-containing meal. An extra capsule should be taken for each 200 IU of alpha-tocopherol in any other supplements you may be taking. Or as directed by a qualified health consultant.
