Trudie Styler's Sculpt & Tone Ballet DVD by Gaiam
Gaiam - Trudie Styler's Sculpt & Tone Ballet DVD
Trudie Styler's Sculpt & Tone Ballet DVD offers two ballet workouts to choose from!
Barre Routine (25 Minutes)
Since studying ballet as a child, Trudie Styler has long admired the ageless art of ballet as well as the extraordinary strength and grace of ballet dancers. Together with classically trained dancer and fitness guru James D'Silva, Styler delivers this ballet-based barre workout designed to improve strength, balance and posture.
Chair Routine (25 Minutes)
With all the grace and poise one would expect from a ballet-based routine, this 25 minute workout goes through traditional and modified ballet moves with just enough commentary to keep you on task. Choose from the barre workout or select the same routine demonstrated with chairs instead of the barre. If you're unfamiliar with ballet, you'll find a footwork tutorial to get you started.
Music & Setting
Filmed at Trudie Styler and Sting's beautiful, eco-friendly Tuscan villa, II Palagio, the program features the beautifully hand painted old chapel belonging to the house, and is set to music composed and performed by David Hartley, frequent musical collaborator with Sting.
