Not to be confused with soy protein isolate. It may be a small bean, but there are big differences when it comes to the various types of soy extract and whole soy.
Most people are familiar with soy but are surprised to hear that it usually loses some of its nutrient content during the process of becoming a soy product. That’s because in most soy foods, only part of the bean is extracted and used. With whole soy, however, the whole bean is used.
