Dr. Woods has combined their original soap products with Organic Shea Butter to create an ultra moisturizing cleanser. Shea Butter is nature's hidden secret for beautiful skin. Once a year in the African Savannah, the Mangifolia tree gives up its fruit known as the karite or the shea nut. After being hand picked, the shea nuts are boiled to extract their treasure, Shea Butter.
Shea Butter is an ultra moisturizer that penetrates and revitalizes your skin. Shea Butter naturally contains vitamins A, E and F, essential elements that give your skin the balance that it needs for improved elasticity and to combat dryness.
Suggested Use
Daily Facial Cleanser and Body Wash - Apply a generous amount onto wet hands, washcloth, or loofa. Lather and massage. Rinse and experience satiny, soft skin with a delicate fragrance.
Relaxing Bath - Squeeze a capful or two in running water to create a soothing soak.
Gentle Laundry Cleaning - Excellent for fine fabrics and baby clothing. Use 2 oz. for small loads, 4 oz. for large loads. Warnings

This a great soap for children and adults if you like a baby smell. Very moisturizing. I use it for body wash, hand soap and shampoo.

I wish I would have know this smelled like baby *powder*, which I find nauseating. The scent is very strong, and lingers a long time on your skin. The ingredients list "natural fragrance oils", but is not specific about what is actually in it. I expected some essential oils, but can't think of any that smell like baby powder, and the company won't return any of my calls or emails asking for more info. Otherwise, this works alright on my daughter's skin which has occasional issues with eczema.

My daughter is 7 months old and this is the only soap I have ever used on her. I use it as both her shampoo and body soap and always get compliments on how good she smells. She gets a bath every other day and yet her skin shows no signs of being dried out, I actually get compliments on how extra soft her skin is. Love this soap and will continue to use it on her.

I use this on my two children, primarily for shampoo and to make the diaper wipe solution. It's mild, but gets them smelling clean in a hurry!

It has a light, very natural smelling, baby powder scent. I use it regularly to bathe a toddler and a baby with mild eczema. It leaves their skin and hair clean and soft, with a fresh, mild scent that stays with them for the rest of the day....I've also used it for laundry detergent, when I've run out of my usual detergent.
It's not watery, like a lot of all-natural soap. It feels like any other liquid soap, minus the awful chemicals. Best price out there for a natural baby shampoo. I will definitely buy it again.

Great soap. I use this as hand soap. It is much less drying than regular soap. It's great as a bath soap for little ones too. I use it on my 3 year old as soap and shampoo and really like it.

We love it! We did use other natural/organic limited ingredient soaps/washes for our daughter; however, this is our new favorite! We have been using it for quite some time now

I bought this for my 2 year old niece and newborn nephew. I figured my sister could find many uses for it...bath wash, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. I have purchased Dr. Bronner's soaps before and this is very comparable...however this one had a much more attractive price for the size of the bottle. As a side note I used this to clean my tan leather car seats and it cleaned very well without stripping the leather. There are unlimited uses for this soap!

I have used this soap for over three years on my two little boys. It cleans well and does not dry them out. I loved the baby smell and that I could still smell it in their hair in the mornings after baths. However, the latest bottle arrived and it states it is now UNSCENTED. I am so very disappointed. Please bring back the scented soap. Now this soap smells like a plastic bottle. I will have to look for a new soap.

I have used baby mild castile soap for years, and Dr. Woods' brand with shea butter is my favorite. It is a great body wash, and I use it for hand washing my delicates...much, much better than the commercial "soaps" for delicate washing. Highly recommend this product to everyone.

Dr. Woods castile soap is so nice. The shea butter in it makes it more skin softening than the other Dr.s soap.
