Suggested Use
Children 12 Years and Older: Mix 1 scoop of powder with 1 1/2 cups of rice or almond milk and ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add 1 cup of frozen or fresh fruit (e.g., bananas, strawberries or blueberries).
Children Under 12: Mix 1/2 scoop of powder with 1/2 a cup of rice or almond milk and ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth. Follow mixing directions for fruit recipe as above.
Other Directions: Water, milk or soy milk (if not allergic to dairy or soy) may be substituted for the liquid in the smoothie.
Alternatives to Smoothie: add to cooked cereal (add after cooking), yogurt or cold cereal. Add Kid's Factors Balanced Omega 3-6-9 Creamy Liquid for essential fatty acid support.
Take Kid's Factors once per day. Begin with smaller serving size and increase to full amount as tolerated. WarningsAlthough this is a low-allergy potential formula, parents of highly allergic children may want to check the ingredients closely and/or follow the advice of their health care practitioner. Individuals may experience minor gastrointestinal upset such as gas or diarrhea. This normal side effect diminishes with use and can be minimized by starting with a half serving and increasing the dose gradually over 1-2 weeks. Sealed for your protection. Do not use if seal is broken. Upon opening, store in a cool, dry place.
Children: Suitable for school-age children. You may want to begin at half the recommended dose and work up to the full dose. Do not use this as a substitute for breast milk or baby formula, as it was not designed for this purpose and it may not provide all the key nutrients that breast milk supplies for a developing infant.
Pregnancy and Nursing: All the ingredients are very safe; however, this product has not been sufficiently evaluated during pregnancy and lactation so should only be used after consultation with a health care practitioner. Prenatal vitamins would be a better choice for a pregnant woman.
Seniors: No special precautions known; however, this product was designed for children and their learning potential through nutrition. This very safe formula is suitable for seniors; however, we encourage seniors to take the multivitamin/mineral formulations designed specifically for their unique needs.
