How long should it take my dog to chew a Z-Ridge bone?
Chewing time will vary depending on the size of the dog and how aggressive a chewer your dog is. Safety is our number one concern. Zuke's always recommend you supervise your dog while they are enjoying a Z-Ridge, and if you notice that your dog is not adequately chewing the Z-Ridge bone, please take it away.
Suggested Use
Please Read Before Feeding Safety First – As with any edible treat, monitor your dog while chewing. Ensure that your dog adequately chews the treat. Do not feed the treat if you question your dog's ability to adequately chew. Swallowing any item without adequately chewing may be harmful or fatal to a dog. Do not feed more than the Maximum Daily Intake.
Maximum Daily Intake – Z-Ridge is not recommended for puppies under 6 months of age or dogs weighing less than 5 lbs. Always be sure your dog has access to fresh, clean water. Feed the following maximum daily amounts according to your dog's weight:

This is the only bone I will give to my 15 yr old Aussie. She has had sensitive gums which bleed easily and a cracked tooth. All natural and she just LOVES these chewies! The bones are a little hard to start but the super smart girl that she is- she carries it around parallel with her tongue until it softens a bit for her to devour! I wish I could include a photo! Highly recommended! Can be a bit messy but cleans up easily once dry.
