Suggested Use
Shake well before using. After cleansing face, apply a small amount to oily areas, concentrating on trouble spots.

As an adult with acne problems it is frustrating to buy products designed for younger skin. A year ago I was resorting to buying benz-peroxide and salycilic acid products that populate the market. Unfortunately, my skin can no longer handle the harshness of these products. I am pleased with this product because it does not over dry my skin or leave a rash. While my acne does still exist it is moderated to shorter lived, less inflamed acne that fades quicker. My face demonstrates a less flushed appearance compared to trying to go without this product. It is gentle enough twice a day use and does not make my skin feel tight or stiff.

Great product. After 1-2 hrs. my face feels oily and grose, with this my skin feels great for 7hrs. Oil control is important in preventing acne, which it does. I fallow up with moisturizer (oil free) and it is great.

I use this product ONLY before bed after cleansing and applying moisturizer (aubrey blue-green algae) or during times when I am just at home and not expecting to go out for a while. It has a sticky texture that dries into a tightening film that must be rinsed off before applying makeup or anything else. The film, however, helps control oil production and immediately reduces the appearance and size of pimples. If it is used properly, it is an amazing product!!

I absolutely love Amino Derm gel. It is so much better than those chemical laden acne products advertised on TV. It actually moisturizes the skin as it clears the skin. It's incredible! I have been using this for over a year. This is the only acne product I will ever use from now on.

I agree with Rachel in as much as this product is seriously incompatible with moisturizer (specifically Aubrey Blue Green Algae). I've found this product does have some effect on blemishes when used alone (it dries them out a bit). I wash my face and apply it before bed.

This stuff did absolutely nothing for me, but then, I have DRY acne-prone skin, not oily, and that means my acne reacts differently than other people's acne. When I applied face moisturizer on top of it, it also messed up the chemical structure of the lotion, making it gum up and not spread out, so I was left with funny looking goo on my face that wouldn't blend in and wasn't moisturizing that area. I still have it around, but frankly, I hate this stuff! It also smells yucky, and I consider it too strong a product . :(

This Amino Derm Gel works ok if used correctly, like another reviewer stated. It absorbs oil well and leaves your skin smooth and with smaller pores. It feels cool and fresh when you apply it but you have to make sure you don't have a thick moisturizer underneath it otherwise it clumps up and gets really sticky. Most of it seems to absorb pretty fast so you only need to get a little bit and swipe it over oily areas quickly; if you try to rub the gel into your face too much it'll just ball up and flake off your skin. I exfoliate my face, apply jojoba oil and then this product, and that seems to prevent it from clumping up too much. I still don't ever use this before applying makeup - it makes your makeup look terrible.

This stuff is great. It's light and seems to calm the inflamed spots. It does leave a little film but I put a non-oil based hydrator over the top and it does the job all day long.
