Do I need to take the Fish Oil every day?
Yes. Consistent use during pregnancy and post pregnancy (while nursing) will likely lead to the most positive results for both mom and baby. Fish oil, which contains DHA has been shown to assist with healthy neural and visual development in the baby. Many women have claimed that fish oil may have helped with post partum depression. In addition, taking the DHA post-birth and while nursing, can continue to promote healthy brain/visual development and functioning.
What does "enteric coated" mean?
Enteric coated means that the softgel is coated in a way that protects it until it reaches the small intestine. Having fish oil digest in the small intestine is important because it will allow for smoother digestion (less acid) and not give you "fishy" burps or gas.
What types of fish does the oil come from?
Our fish oil is derived from Anchovy, Sardine and Mackerel.
I am worried about ingesting mercury and other toxins that are often found in fish, should I not take the Fish Oil?
