About Aubrey Organics

When Aubrey Hampton first mixed ground ginger, peppermint, and eucalyptus leaf into a base of coconut oil in 1967, he never imagined that the batch of bath liquid he created to help combat those harsh New York City winters would change the personal care industry forever. Forty years and more than 200 products later, Aubrey, the company he founded, remains the leader in natural hair, skin and body care, with products sold in more than 4500 retailers throughout the world.

Why use something synthetic when something natural works so much better? That's the practical philosophy behind every Aubrey product. This simple idea has been the cornerstone of their pioneering company since the beginning. Read their labels. You'll find only the finest herbals and plant extracts in their most natural form.

In 1994, their company became the first personal care manufacturer to be certified as an organic processor by Quality Assurance International of San Diego, California. This means that their factory - where they create their products - is regularly inspected and certified as a manufacturing facility where organic ingredients are handled according to standards set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Organic Program.

Aubrey buys only the purest natural and organic ingredients from fair trade sources, and use them in handcrafted, all-natural products that are good for you and good for the Earth. It is this commitment that has made Aubrey the finest hair, skin and body care products manufacturer and an industry leader with an impressive list of "firsts."

* Due to a worldwide shortage of Blue Chamomile Oil, this product will not look or smell the same as the product you have grown to love. Aubrey Organics have been forced to replace most of the Blue Chamomile oil with German Chamomile Oil based natural fragrance. They want to assure you that this shampoo still performs the same from a cleansing and hydrating standpoint.

Not too crazy about the smell and my hair doesn't feel that smooth after washing with this product.

Very loyal to this brand. It's hard to find everything in a shampoo, but this one has all the features when you want to avoid the bad stuff, and it's very effective without drying. I live in a dry climate, and most shampoos tend to leave me with a lot of static in my hair, but this one tames it without being heavy. I wish they hadn't changed the formula recently. Used to be much thicker, and lasted much longer. Too runny now.

I tried a few pricier brands and didn't find any performance difference. Aubrey products are a good bang for your $.

I have been using this shampoo for over 40 years; I think from the beginning of its introduction. I have tried many other shampoos and many were good but none of them does what this one does. It gives extra sheen and moisture to the hair. Azulene is the primary constituent of blue camomile and is a superb healing agent and moisturizer and only this shampoo has the quality and sufficient quantity of this precious ingredient. Nothing else compares!
