Long Life's distinctive dry tea begins with 400 year old traditional tea recipes which include no artificial flavorings, sweeteners, colorings or preservatives. The tea bags and filter papers are unbleached and Dioxin-free with unbleached 100% cotton strings. Long Life does not use aluminum staples or glue. Individually wrapped envelopes are convenient for travel and each bag offers a special proverb as well. The packaging is designed to be earth friendly. Long Life Teas uses only recycled paperboard, soy-based inks and aqueous coatings. There's also a perforated punch-out on the bottom for easy dispensing.
Bring fresh cold spring water to a rolling boil. Pour 1 cup water over each tea bag and allow to steep 3 to 5 minutes. The longer it steeps the better it tastes. Relax, enjoy the developing aroma and color, anticipate the pleasure of a perfect cup of tea.
Customize your tea - because herbs extract at different rates your can increase sweetness or intensity simply by steeping longer. Create a personal favorite by combining tea bags in you cup.
Decaffeinate your tea naturally. Pour hot water over tea and allow to steep for 20 seconds. Discard this water, add more hot water to complete the brewing process, steeping an additional 3 - 4 minutes. This will reduce the caffeine by 85%.
