What Else Is In It?
Justin and Rachel have their own kids and they care about everything that goes into their mouths - they are pretty sure that lots of other parents do too! Justin and Rachel have formulated their Jack N' Jill toothpaste to work well on young teeth and to be full of only natural ingredients. Good toothpaste is hard to make, so Justin and Rachel set out to make toothpaste without noxious chemicals. Justin and Rachel know how hard it is to get young ones to brush - or allow parents to brush - which is why they want it to be a yummy and fun experience for them, as well as safe.
About Jack N' Jill
Jack N' Jill is a natural toothpaste for babies, toddlers & children that is safe to swallow. It was first made in Melbourne, Australia in 1949 and it has been Justin and Rachel's family business for more than twenty years. It continues to be made in Australia and Justin and Rachel are excited that Jack N' Jill is now available in the USA and UK as well.
A few years ago Justin and Rachel had their first child and immediately joined many parents the world over who are concerned about the current environmental issues and the direct effects they have on children. They started to question everything he came into contact with, not wanting to expose him to unnecessary additives and chemicals, and felt frustrated at the lack of choices in early childhood oral hygiene. With a background in pharmacy, they set out to formulate the absolute safest toothpaste for their kids and yours. In the process, they also made it the most fun & yum!
Jack N' Jill toothpaste is 100% safe for young children – especially because they have a tendency to swallow it, rather than spit it out! All Jack N' Jill packaging is designed to be appealing to children and is cute enough that parents won't mind it sitting on their bathroom vanity. Alongside the toothpaste they have designed and manufactured the first children’s toothbrushes that are made of NON GMO cornstarch, and are therefore biodegradable and recyclable. Did they mention 'cute'?
Justin and Rachel are very excited that Jack N' Jill toothpaste has been evaluated by researchers from Skin Deep - the Environmental Working Group's database for the safety of personal care products. Their toothpaste rates with a 'zero' - the safest rating they have. Justin and Rachel are proud supporters of EWG - they refer to their guidelines and resources on a daily basis.
At Jack N' Jill they believe that businesses have an obligation to the environment, that’s why they have formulated an all natural, hypoallergenic toothpaste with organic ingredients, and designed their packaging to be minimal, recyclable and BPA Free.
Wash your hands! Use a small amount on finger or toothbrush. With minimum pressure, brush with a circular motion twice a day. Not harmful if swallowed!
Your toothpaste tube is sealed under the cap for hygiene. Remove the safety seal and the replace the flip-top cap.
During normal use, small amounts of crystallized toothpaste will build up on the mouth of the cap.
- Using a clean damp cloth or wipe, remove all toothpaste residue from around the cap opening.
- Dry the cap with a clean, dry cloth.
- Close flip-top lid and store tube upright (cap facing up) in the Biodegradable Jack N' Jill Bathroom Cup.
- Always store oral care products as far away from the toilet area as possible.
It's important to always keep your toothbrush clean, and sterilize the head regularly. When the toothbrush comes into contact with the opening of the toothpaste cap, bacteria etc. can be transferred to the tube.
Please don't allow children to suck on the toothpaste tube. We know it tastes yummy, but it's unhygienic (can spoil the toothpaste) and not the intended use for Jack N' Jill. If this does occur then immediately clean the tube as above.
