Why doesn't the Health & Beauty Care line offer a fragrance-free option?
While all of Seventh Generation's Health and Beauty Care products are formulate to be gentle, they formulated the lightly scented chamomile to be extra gentle and it is labeled "Sensitive Care." As chamomile is known to have skin soothing properties and is gentle enough for sensitive skin, they chose essential oil of chamomile and botanical extract of chamomile and botanical extract of chamomile and botanical extract of chamomile to provide a light fragrance without the risk of irritation.
Are the bottles and caps used in the Health & Beauty Care line recyclable?
The bottles for these products are all made from HDPE (#2) and contain recycled content. The caps for the Body Wash and the Body Lotion are virgin recyclable polypropylene (#4). The hand wash pump is virgin plastic and contains metal springs; as such, it is not recyclable.
Is your Health & Beauty Care line vegan?
Yes, these products do not contain ingredients that are derived from animals. Seventh Generation does not test on animals.
