    MRM - Intestinal Bowel Support - 15 x 7 grams Stick Packs

MRM Intestinal Bowel Support contains a formula devised to ease discomfort and promote regularity, Intestinal Bowel Support provides a qualified match of powerful live probiotics (LA05 and BB-12) with prebiotic (trans-GOS) to stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria.

It’s not just any match of pre- and probiotics, it’s the harmony of a well-qualified match we call Qualified Synbiotics capable of populating millions of beneficial bacteria in the intestines, it makes vegetarian-friendly Intestinal Bowel Support the perfect companion for reliable bowel and gut health.

The addition of L-Glutamine helps aid the formation of intestinal mucosa for quick relief from constipation and the symptoms of irregularity.

Qualified matches of powerful live probiotics LA-5 and BB-12, with prebiotic trans-GOS, stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria to ease symptoms at the source, while L-Glutamine helps the formation of intestinal mucosa necessary to calm the intestines and return to a restored function.

MRM’s condition-specific Intestinal Bowel Support restores optimal digestive function and promotes ongoing healthy bowel activity while enabling an increase in beneficial bacteria populations that halt the growth of harmful bacteria – which reduces gas and bloating, and encourages regularity.

Intestinal discomfort, such as gas, bloating and loose bowel are generally a result of poor diet, stress, food contaminants (pathogenic bacteria) and antibiotic use- all of which cause changes to to a healthy gut environment. Over time, these changes decrease digestive function, reduce absorption of nutrients and lower defense against toxic compounds, which may lead to discomfort and even illness. Maintaining and nurturing an optimal gastrointestinal environment is critical for proper digestion and assimilation of nutrients.

Intestinal Bowel Support is formulated with clinically documented prebiotic and probiotic combination to optimize and restore healthy gut microflora, to reduce gas and bloating and to promote regularity. Clinical data supports the ability of Trans-GOS to increase populations of beneficial bacteria (probiotics) by acting as a preferred food source for colonization, and by helping to diminish harmful strains of bacteria.

Synbiotics are a combination of both prebiotics and probiotics that work in synergy for the most powerful results to mitigate ailments as the intestinal level. MRM's Qualified Synbiotics are the result of methodically pre-screened 42 different combinations of pre- and probiotics to deliver potent, effective formulas containing the greatest synergistic action - all of which is supported by definitive controlled data.

    • With L-Glutamine for optimal growth and function of enterocytes (intestinal cells)
    • Documented synergistic formulations of prebiotic and probiotic pairings for best results
    • Formula contains only probiotics with documented safety, stability and intestinal survival rates
    • Convenient-to-carry vegetarian stick packs
    • Promotes regularity while easing GI discomfort.

The Importance of Intestinal Tract Health

    A Balancing Act

The gastrointestinal (G.I.) tract, or gut, is quite literally the core of a person’s being.  At its simplest, keeping the gut healthy is a question of balance – not only of pH levels, but of colonies of microflora (bacteria) as well. In fact, the human gut is a environment of continual interplay between populations of good and bad microflora.  It is where trillions of bacteria live, grow and die with changes occurring on a minute-to-minute basis. And that bacteria is either supporting your good health, or opposing it.

Colonies of “beneficial” bacteria populate the gut to work as an ongoing immune barrier to disease and ill health, while colonies of “pathogenic” bacteria surge and ebb in response to factors such as diet, hydration level, and daily stress – among other factors – which contribute to ill health.

The arduous task of keeping good bacteria alive and well, as part of thriving colonies within the G.I. tract, comes down to the management of a very delicate balance.  Successful maintenance of that delicate balance assures that harmful bacteria will be overcome by helpful strains of bacteria, and will be crowded out to eventually perish.

But ensuring that happens demands an ongoing process of address with the many variables that help encourage the survival of harmful bacteria in the first place: Poor food choices, insufficient hydration, stress, lack of sleep, and the use of antibiotics or frequent use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, known as NSAIDs.

It then becomes a regular practice of adopting measures that discourage the proliferation of gut-disruptive pathogenic bacteria that enjoy exponential growth at the hands of a reckless lifestyle, and encourage the colonization of intestinal flora that protects your good health.

    Playground as Teacher

Think of gastrointestinal balance of good-to-bad bacteria as a stance in the middle of a playground teeter-totter. In order to strike balance, some counter-balance is forged to keep one side from hitting bottom.

For this relationship to work, both sides must be poised and balanced, or neither side works.

But for anyone who has attempted this, it is clear that the management of small changes in this point of balance requires constant attention, along with minute adjustments and fixes that make balance a relatively simple affair.

The moment those fixes are ignored, balance skews quickly and easily in one direction or the other, and anything from imbalance to chaos to total failure ensues.  At that point, restoring balance back to a center point becomes a much greater challenge.

And so it is in the realm of gut health:

Allowing the balance of microbial stasis to go beyond a point of a quick simple fix is called gut dysbiosis – a condition in which alterations in the development or composition of bacterial colonies is disturbed in some way to either activate healthy immune response, or alter its effectiveness.

    Qualified Synbiotics

In recent years, science has discovered that the careful pairing of specific, lab-tested combinations of pre- and probiotics creates the best match.

Not all pre- and probiotic pairs work well together.  Some pairs accomplish little more together than they might have alone, and offer no added benefit to restoration of gut flora, or to gut or immune health in general.  Much like a perfect mate versus an incompatible one, a ‘qualified’ match sets the stage for an optimized pairing of beneficial bacteria and food source that is capable of producing the best proliferative results at the gut level.

MRM has been tireless in conducting research that identifies specific and ideal couplings within a complex “qualification” process.  It’s what we call “Qualified Synbiotics“ – a way to enable the isolation of the most effective pairings, based on the quality of the synergy they create as a unit.

These very specific pairings of probiotic and food source enable the immune system to be revitalized, and gastrointestinal health to be restored by way of super-teams of pre-qualified synbiotics that have the best chance of growth and survival in colonizing strains of beneficial bacteria at the gut level.

Qualified Synbiotics are that rare coupling – that match made in scientific heaven, full of sparks and fireworks.
