    Nalgene Travel Kit Small

The Nalgene Travel Kit Small is the perfect set to allow you to safely, legally transport personal travel essentials such as shampoo, lotion, ointments, cotton swabs etc throught airport security.Since 2006, the TSA has allowed travelers to carry travel sized toiletries through securities (3 oz. or less.)

    Included in this kit is:

    •  0.5 oz. round bottle, 1 oz. square bottle, 1 oz. jar (qty 2), 2 oz. square bottles.
The items in this kit are made of sturdy HDPE, PP and PETG. A selection of (4) guaranteed leakproof, durable bottles with independent screw-on caps and (2) storage jars that are dishwasher safe (top rack). Nalgene has very high standards when it comes to calling a container leakproof. They fill up the container and the pressurize it. If it does not leak they consider it to pass the test and be worthy of being called leakproof. They test the jars by filling them with water and then turning them upside down. If no water comes out they consider the jar to pass the test. So jars will hold liquid but they are not held to as high a standard as the bottles. The jars may be a better choice for thicker liquids such as lotions or gels. And of course they are great for Tums, or Advil.

The main material used in the jars is HDPE. It is:

    • Sturdy and reliable
    • Economical
    • Dishwasher Safe (top rack only)
    • Withstands temperatures from -100ºC (-148ºF) to 120ºC (248ºF)

    About Nalgene:
Back in 1949, a Rochester, New York chemist named Emanuel Goldberg developed the first plastic pipette holder. Along with three workers, he began the Nalge Company in a small building at 625 South Goodman Street. For years Goldberg and his growing team developed the Nalgene line of state-of-the-art polyethylene laboratory equipment: centrifuge bottles, filter units, storage tanks. Obviously, it wasn’t the kind of stuff you toss into your backpack for a weekend in the woods. But there were rumors floating around … stories about scientists taking the smaller, more convenient bottles out of the lab and using them on hikes and excursions.By the 1970s this “unofficial” use for Nalgene bottles caught the eye of Marsh Hyman (President of the Nalge Company in Rochester, New York).

At Nalgene, there all about helping people simplify their lives while respecting the environment. That’s why they created reusable containers of all kinds, made from a wide range of materials to suit your personal preferences, needs and lifestyle. So whether you’re looking for a virtually indestructible drinking bottle for a backcountry adventure, or you want a clean, green way of storing your dry pasta, you’ll find a Nalgene product that gets the job done.
