is a bright, non-glaring, soup-can-sized backcountry lantern for cooking at the campsite and night time tent reading. 3-watt LED and frosted globe create bright, non-glaring light with dimming switch. Dual reflector system captures and maximizes light output. Uses NRG Rechargeable Battery Kit or 4 AA alkaline batteries. Battery power meter displays charging status and/or existing battery life. When using AA batteries:
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Dispose of the used batteries properly.
Battery life will vary depending

Brand and freshness of batteries.
Brightness setting used.
To turn the Apollo on (and off), depress
the center orange switch.
Apollo will always turn on at the
Hold down switch to dim or brighten.
Light will flash when
the lowest light
output setting is
reached and begin to

Peel back right side of charger plug
Insert charger plug

Battery Power Indicator
The Battery Power Indicator (BPI) light
indicates how much battery life remains
for the mode in use.
Green Light: > 50% battery life
Yellow Light: 20.50% battery life
Red Light: < 20% battery life
The BPI, when charging the NRG
rechargeable battery, will also indicate
Red Light: < 30% charged
Yellow Light: < 85% charged
Green Light: 85.100% charged
Note: BPI lights turn off automatically after
a few minutes.
Ensure that the lantern is clean and dry
before and af ter each use and before
DO NOT store the lantern wet.
DO NOT heat.
Use a damp cloth to clean the lantern.
DO NOT submerge. Air dry
If the Apollo does not work:
Check that the batteries are oriented
correctly and touching the contacts.
Replace the batteries.
Charge NRG Battery system.
Check the contacts and connections
for corrosion and clean if necessary.
Work the switch several times.
