The Black Diamond Orbit Lantern's DoublePower LED with 45 lumens (max setting) enclosed inside a frosted globe produces bright, non-glaring light for any situation. The Orbit Lantern is the must have for any serious outdoorsmen. The compact size makes it so easy to take along and won't take up room. The Orbit gives off the right amount of light for any situation.
Suggested Use
IMPORTANT: Follow all instructions
carefully. Any modifications of this
product will void the warranty. Misuse of
the lantern may cause the user harm.
The Orbit functions with either 4 AAA
alkaline or lithium batteries or the Black
Diamond NRG2 Rechargeable Battery Kit
(sold separately).
To make rechargeable, purchase the
NRG2 Rechargeable Battery Kit and follow
instructions.
When using AAA batteries:
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Dispose of the used batteries properly.
Battery life will vary depending
upon:
Battery source used.
Brand and freshness of batteries.
Ambient temperature.
Brightness setting used.
To turn the Orbit on (and off ), depress the
center orange switch.
The Orbit will
always turn on
at the brightest
setting.
Hold down the
switch to dim or
brighten.
The light will flash
when the lowest
light output setting
is reached and
begin to brighten.
The light will flash
at the brightest
light output and
begin to dim.
To hang the Orbit, use either one hook
or both together to form a closed loop.
Ensure that the lantern is clean and dry
before and after each use and before
storage.
DO NOT store the lantern wet.
DO NOT heat.
Use a damp cloth to clean the lantern.
DO NOT submerge. Air dry.
Warnings
A responsible adult must supervise use
by children under the age of 12.
Always inspect your lantern for proper
operation prior to using and, for critical
situations, carry a second light and
sufficient spare batteries.
