With new more powerful 1/2 watt LEDs, the
Black Diamond Cosmo Headlamp fuses a techy design with bright, proximity lighting, creating a go-anywhere headlamp. Low-profile and super compact with a tiltable head, the Cosmo utilizes four SuperBright 1/2 watt LEDs. Tiny but packed with features, the Cosmo has three brightness settings and strobe illumination. Sporting a removable elastic strap, this pocket-sized headlamp offers versatile illumination and function. The Cosmo Headlamp by Black Diamond is a compact lamp optimized for bright, close-range lighting, plus a DoublePower LED for distance viewing. Wt: 1.6 oz/2.8 oz (without/with batteries).

The Cosmo has eight light-output settings—three
brightness settings and strobe illumination in
either SuperBright LED or one-half watt LED mode.
To turn on the Cosmo, depress and release (click)
the switch (A), located on the top of the housing.
Either the two SuperBright or the one-half watt
LEDs will activate at the brightest setting. Two full
depressions will access the other mode. To access
the brightness settings in either mode, depress
the switch halfway in sequence.
Half depression = Middle setting
Half depression = Economy setting
Half depression = Strobe
Half depression = Return to brightest setting
A full depression and release of the switch will
turn the headlamp off at any time.Warnings
A responsible adult must supervise use by
children under the age of 12.
To reduce the risk of strangulation, do not
place the headlamp straps around your neck.
Always inspect your headlamp for proper
operation prior to using and, for critical situations,
carry a second light and sufficient spare batteries.
Do not stare directly into the beam or shine it
directly into others’ eyes. Intense light can damage
your eyes or the eyes of those around you.
