The Black Diamond NRG2 Battery Kit is a rechargeable power supply specifically for the Orbit lantern. NiMH battery kit with circuit board, LED power indicators and simple, one-step wall charging like a cell phone. This charger is for the Orbit ONLY.
Suggested Use
Plug the AC Battery Charger into a household outlet. Pull back the rubber charger port cover on the battery comparment. Insert the battery charger unit plug into the battery port. As charging proceeds, the Battery Power Indicator will illuminate:
Red Light: <30% charged
Yellow Light: <85% charged
Green Light: 85-100% charged
The charging automatically shuts off after full charge is achieved and the green light is on.
Additional Charging Information:
Battery should be fully charged before inital use.
Battery charger will take approx. eight hours if battery is fully discharged.
Battery does not need to be fully discharged prior to be recharged.
The charger will automatically stop charging when battery is fully charged.
