I have been treating my reflux for 15 years without taking any H2 inhibitors on a regular basis. The bodies natural defenses to viruses, bacteria and invading organisms is compromised by preventing the body from producing natural acids needed for its protection. I developed a severe case of esophageal candidiasis. I read that by taking d-Limonene 1000mg once a day my reflux problems would be completely solved. I have been taking Jarrows d-Limonene once a day for close to a year. The product cured my esophageal candidiasis and has worked extremely well on my reflux. I would not go a day without it ever again. I suffer very little from any symptoms of GERD. Prior to taking the 1000mg of d-limonene daily I was unable to drink any coffee at all without suffering horrible reflux. This product also shows evidence of cleansing the bowel and as a treatment for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. I highly recommend this product to everyone I know. Try it and see for yourself.

In all fairness, I was in the middle of rebound from coming off of Nexium. Maybe nothing would have worked at that point, but I do know that this product made me feel worse. It is extremely potent (just think how it feels if you cut an orange and a drop of orange peel oil gets into your eye.) I think d-Limonene should be uses with caution.
