About Honey Bunny:
Wolfe Honey Company Inc. is a family owned Organic Apiary located in Guy, Alberta – The Peace River Region. Gilbert Wolfe started Beekeeping at 14 years of age; this was his job of choice as a kid growing up in the local area. Wolfe Honey Company Inc. is now the largest Organic Apiary in Canada and has been in operation for over 25 years. Their production facility in the Peace River country features state of the art honey processing and packaging technology. They modeled and engineered their plant to the standards of a German facility that has impressed us for many years. They take great pride in developing honey products that stand out in the marketplace – because there is no substitute for high quality.
Gilbert and Sharon Wolfe launched the Honey Bunny product line in 2006. First they started with the idea of retailing their Honey and Honey sweetened condiments. Next, after much deliberation, they identified the stand up pouch with corner pour spout as their container of choice. They chose this format since it is easy to use and offers an easily controlled non-drip pour where the user can actually squeeze all of the product out! No more mess of dipping sticky knives or spoons into your peanut butter jar!
They are situated in Northern Alberta where logistics is a significant concern. With the lightness and compactability of the empty pouches, the carbon footprint is drastically reduced.
