it looks nothing like it does in the picture. it looks smaller overall. the ball does not come off, in fact i don't see how it could ever come off. instead of that Y that's shown, it's built more like a mace - or a rolling pin. the handle looks the same, a marble (purple), plastic handle. the ball is a solid rubber about the size of a golf ball.
what i don't like is that first of all, it's not what's shown in the picture. but mostly i was hoping i could push down on this and move it along like a wheel. but this will be awkward to use since i have to push down on it sideways which is harder to do and hurts my wrist at the same time.
i'm hoping it does the trick, but i may complain the company that makes this and tell them it's not at all what i was expecting.
