Norwegian Cod Liver Oil by Carlson Labs
Carlson Labs Norwegian Cod Liver Oil Regular Flavor 16.8 oz. (500 ml)
Carlson Labs Norwegian Cod Liver Oil comes from the livers of fresh cod fish found in the arctic ocean waters of Norway. The oil is separated from the liver tissues without the use of chemicals. To ensure the freshness of the oil, the air inside the bottle is replaced with nitrogen and natural-sourve vitamin E is added. Medical studies of fish oil have shown to promote healthy brain function and support normal vision. Medical scientists internationally are encouraging people to eat more fish. Fish oil is the only major source of the polyunsaturated Omega 3's EPA and DHA. For those individuals who do not eat an oily fish diet, Carlson offers Omega-3's in an easy to swallow liquid.
This product is regularly tested (using AOAC international protocols) for freshness, potency and purity by an independent, FDA-registered laboratory and has been determined to be fresh, fully potent and free of detrimental levels of mercury, cadmium, lead, PCB's and 28 other contaminants.

Omega-3 fatty acids are important and essential nutrients for our health. They are composed of long chain carbons, which are polyunsaturated; they have many double bonds. The term omega-3 or n-3 refers to the location of the first double bond on the third carbon. Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA), Eicosapentainoic Acid (EPA) and Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA) and are recognized as important and/or essential omega-3's in human nutrition and physiology. Because of their unique structure, omega-3's have important and unique function in our bodies. EPA and DHA have a longer structure and contain more double bonds than ALA. Both EPA and DHA are involved in healthy cardiovascular systems, immune processes and help support the formation of healthy prostaglandins. DHA is a vital component of the retina, brain and neurons.

Best way to take fish oil. Swallow it quick, right out of the bottle, then eat something that tastes better to wash down the taste.
I take this in the winter for vitamin D. My dog gets it too! Lucky's price is amazing!!!
I have always used Carlson's lemon flavored cod liver oil but in an attempt to save money I ordered the plain variety. Never again! It makes me want to hurl!!! I'll go back to the lemon flavored oil and save money elsewhere.
Fast delivery, excellent products.
Tastes fresh, although a bit fishy, (but not in a bad way, really).
Great product. It soothens the esophagus when it feels irritated.
If someone remembers cod liver oil as terrible tasting, then it was because it was rancid. Fresh product is no problem - try lemon flavored if you're not sure.
I love it. Does not taste fishy. I take 1 T. every day.
I cannot believe how this has cleared my skin and made it so much smoother and younger looking in just 2 months of use. It is not strong tasting and I will definitely be a lifetime user of this product!
