Mineral Airbrush Pressed Foundation is applied with the included sponge. Simply wipe the sponge across the pressed minerals and distribute evenly on face. DO NOT WET THE SPONGE FIRST. The sponge can be washed with a cleanser and dried overnight.

Mineral Airbrush Pressed Foundation is an adjustable coverage foundation. Therefore, if you want higher coverage simply sponge on until your face is covered. If you want less coverage, distribute smaller amounts with the sponge. Pressed minerals can double as a concealer as well. Use the Camouflage Oval Grande brush to apply a small amount to conceal blemishes or under-eye circles. Use a Kabuki brush if you want a lighter all-over application.

Tip: Try wearing multiple Mineral Airbrush Pressed Foundation shades for an ultra flattering effect. For instance, 3WM can be worn as an all-over shade with the 2WM being worn around the eye area. Buff on Pressed Goddess Glo bronzer for warmth.

WARNING: The pressed mineral foundation WILL shatter if dropped! We do not use the customary binders that hold other pressed foundations together. Those binders are often pore clogging and we avoid them.

Many products within the Larénim makeup line can be used together to create a naturally beautiful look for anyone and everyone. The first step is to start with a good Foundation and Blush combination. When looking at Foundation, you will notice that each color has a number and a letter. The letter refers to C for Cool, W for Warm or N for Neutral. The lower the number preceding the letter, the lighter in shade the foundation will be. For instance, 3-W will be lighter than 4-W.

Pink Undertones & Fair Skin - Look for a foundation color in the C range.
Yellow Undertones - Pick a foundation within the W range.
Neutral (no distinct pink or yellow undertones) - Choose a foundation in the N range.

How do I select a foundation?

We strongly suggest purchasing a couple of different trial size colors. The "C's" (after the number) indicate "cool" colors with pink undertones while the "W's" indicate "warm" colors with yellow undertones. Many Caucasian women believe before trying them, that they will be a "C"ool. But the truth is that many of them look better with a "W"arm because they may have a lot of red in their skin. Reddish skin becomes beautifully minimized with a warm color.

Test your foundation shade on your face; not your hand. Your hand will not give you an accurate depiction of how your color will look on your face. Wait at least ten minutes to decide if your shade is a good match - even if it initially looks like it is. Most foundations will deepen a little within ten to fifteen minutes of application.

Every once in a while I get a streak while applying my foundation. What's happening?

There are two possibilities:
Your skin could be damp (or still have moisturizer that hasn't absorbed yet.)
Fine pigment minerals were not dispersed before applying. All of our makeup is hand crafted and custom blended so occasionally you may need to "buff" the foundation a little more into your skin.

No talc. Larenim will not permanently stretch pore walls, as can happen with traditional makeups.

Larenim contains no oils, no fillers, and no FD&C dyes.

Does not "spoil." Minerals will not support bacterial growth as ingredients in conventional makeups can.
