Anatabloc - Anti-Inflammatory Support Dietary Supplement - 200 Lozenges

Anatabloc Anti-Inflammatory Support Dietary Supplement assists the body’s natural process for regulating its own inflammation, using an alkaloid found in plants and vegetables, combined with Vitamins A and D3, to assist in maintaining healthy levels of inflammation at a cellular level.

The Science of Anatabloc
A tablet of Anatabloc contains 1 milligram of anatabine base, 500 units of Vitamin A and 40 units of Vitamin D3. Anatabine is a natural alkaloid found in Solanaceous plants (tomato, peppers, tobacco) that reduces NF-kappaB activity. Anatabloc has been shown to have significant anti-inflammatory effects in-vitro, in animal studies, and in human epidemiological studies of tobacco alkaloid exposures. A clinical trial using Anatabloc is ongoing. Two additional trials will get underway by year-end.

What is Anatabloc?
Anatabloc is a dietary supplement for anti-inflammatory support of the immune system.

What conditions can be affected by Chronic Inflammation?
Many disorders are caused by chronic low level inflammation, including coronary artery disease, diabetes, asthma, Alzheimers, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Is it safe?
Anatabine is a naturally-occuring alkaloid, found in many peppers, eggplants and green tomatoes. Combined with Vitamins A and D3, Anatabloc™ is able to support a natural anti-inflammatory process in the body.

How often do I take it?
The recommended dosage varies based on your symptoms and how you respond to Anatabloc, but most people can use one to two lozenges three times per day, to be dissolved in the mouth and swallowed.

What is Inflammation and How Does It Affect Health?
Inflammation is the activation of the immune system in response to infection, irritation or injury. Characterized by an influx of white blood cells, redness, heat, swelling, pain, and dysfunction of the organs involved, inflammation has different names when it appears in different parts of the body. Most allergy and asthma sufferers are familiar with rhinitis (inflammation of the nose), sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses), and asthma (inflammation of the airways), but inflammation is also behind arthritis (inflammation of the joints), dermatitis (inflammation of the skin), and so on.

Excessive inflammation can lead to a host of inflammatory conditions.

Excessive Inflammation
The human body's immune system triggers inflammation to help fight off infection and to heal injury. The body creates small proteins (called "cytokines") to promote inflammation.

But sometimes this cycle of inflammation goes out of control, and the excessive inflammation has been shown to lead to many prevalent diseases and disorders.

Reducing Inflammation for Healthy Athletes
Combined with adequate rest and hydration, Anatabloc is able to help the body by providing anti-inflammatory support that is helpful in endurance athletics and other fitness activities. Knees, ankles and other joints that athletes use during exercise can be affected by inflammation in the body. Healthy inflammation ultimately works to mend and strengthen muscles, making them more adaptable to more intense levels of activity. If post-exercise inflammation is not supported, it may become chronic; this can compromise recovery from workouts and increase the risk of more serious over-use injuries.

A general immune response to injury in the body that can be triggered by over-training is believed to activate pro-inflammatory gene products including cytokines. This can result in the production of inflammation that can accumulate in other areas in the body not traditionally thought to be related to fitness activity. Bronchial inflammation and overall airway inflammation also pose significant limitations for endurance athletes: bronchial obstructions linked to inflammation may promote respiratory symptoms during strenuous exercise. Anatabloc™ leverages the body’s natural process for regulating its own inflammation. Anatabine is a naturally-occurring compound found in some plants; combined with Vitamin A and D3, it helps the body to address excessive creation of inflammation.

About Anatabloc

Anatabloc was created by Rock Creek Pharmaceuticals. At Rock Creek, we research novel compounds - many developed from natural sources - which reduce the inflammation that accompanies a number of medical conditions that result from dietary and other causes.

We have overseen the development of Anatabloc, a dietary supplement that assists the body's natural process for regulating its own inflammation, using an alkaloid found in plants and vegetables, and Vitamins A and D3, to help maintain a healthy level of inflammation at a cellular level.

We are also developing other products that could address a range of neurological conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and depression. Research is currently underway to explore the role that the substance RCP-006 can play in reducing blood levels of c-reactive protein (CRP). CRP, found in blood, is broadly known to be a marker for inflammatory processes in the in human body. Such inflammation is a factor in a variety of coronary vascular and autoimmune disorders.
