What changed in your transition to Free & Clear Diapers?
Their Free & Clear diapers have a redesigned, lighter-weight core that is both more efficient at absorption and uses less wood pulp. They still offer the same premium absorbency and comfort for your baby, but these changes, as well as a reduction in the size of their plastic packaging, mean that each pack of Seventh Generation diapers now contributes less overall landfill waste than before.
Why doesn't Seventh Generation use chlorine in the processing of its diapers, training pants and overnight diapers?
They believe in processing without the use of chemicals containing chlorine because chlorine processing can produce chlorinated hydrocarbons, which have a negative impact on the environment. By choosing not to process with chlorine, they help reduce the overall amount of chlorinated toxins released into the environment, and in that way they're helping to make the world a healthier place for you and your family.
Do the Seventh Generation diapers compost or are they biodegradable?
Just like most disposable diaper designs in the marketplace, Seventh Generation diapers are not biodegradable, nor can they be composted. Many of the materials used are synthetic, and do not biodegrade. Most diapers end up in a landfill where they will not biodegrade, even if they were designed to do so.
Do you test on animals?
