Nutrivene Piracetam 800 mg. - 60 Capsules
Nutrivene Piracetam is a brain support. Piracetam, known as a nootropic (a Greek word meaning "acting on mind"), has been primarily used in Europe since the 1970s. It has been studied in a number of clinical experiments and has shown positive results in epilepsy, cognitive decline following surgery, dementia, myoclonus, and stroke. Piracetam has been found to increase blood flow and oxygen consumption in parts of the brain and may improve movement of information between the brain’s hemispheres via the corpus callosum. Piracetam is also useful as a long term treatment for coagulation, clotting, Raynaud’s phenomenom, and deep vein thrombosis.
Piracetam should not be used by patients with severe renal impairment, hepatic impairment, or cerebral haemorrhage. Caution is recommended in persons with haemostasis, major surgery, or severe haemorrhage.
Typical dosages for Piracetam are 2400 to 4800 mg per day divided into 3 dosages. The Trisomy 21 Research Foundation typically recommends 75 mg of Piracetam per kilogram (equivalent to 2.2 pounds) of body weight for Down syndrome. Each capsule contains 800 mg of pharmaceutical-grade Piracetam. Other ingredients include magnesium stearate, and capsules (vegetarian). This product may also contain rice flour. Each bottle contains 60 capsules.
