Organically grown cotton is produced without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, fragrances, harsh dyes and bleaches. The process is regulated and certified. All of our "Organic" products meet the oeko-tex 100 Standard and are certified by Shal. All the dyes are Azo free. Our philosophy is that garments worn next to the skin should be pure and non-toxic. After washing, the fibers will condense, giving a sherpa effect that adds warmth, uniqueness, and beauty.

Why Azo free?
Certain Azo dyes and pigments which are commonly used to colour textiles are toxic and may
be potential carcinogens.The European commission recently adopted directive 76/769 eec that bans the usage of certain
Azo dyes for use in textile products which may come in direct or prolonged contact with the skin.
In addition Azo dyes resist biodegration under aerobic conditions and as such are difficult to
remove from an ecosystem. Our piccolo bambino blankets are Azo free for the safety of your baby and our planet.
