The Vacu Vin Vacuum Wine Stoppers are used in combination with the Vacu Vin Vacuum Wine Saver, sold separately. The Vacu Vin Wine Saver is a vacuum pump, which extracts the air from an opened bottle and re-seals it with the re-usable rubber Vacu Vin Vacuum Wine Stopper. Place the re-usable Vacu Vin Vacuum Wine Stopper in the bottle and extract the air from the bottle using the Wine Saver pump. The vacuum slows down the oxidation process which makes it possible to enjoy your wine again on a later date.

History of Vacu Vin

Together with his brother John, an engineer, he developed a device to preserve opened bottles of wine.
